TOD

Movie:  THE WIZARD OF OZ, THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN, CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND, TITANIC (1953)

Musical:  SOUTH PACIFIC, PETER PAN, ANNIE  (Wish I could see again:  BARNUM)

Play:  TEN LITTLE INDIANS, BLITHE SPIRIT, One of them Shakespeare's things

There's been talk of a BARNUM revival in NYC that would play in an actual circus tent.  I would like to go just to hear the score again.

I had a huge Jim Dale crush when he was doing BARNUM.  I seconded acted this show many times during his run in it.

Jim Dale is one of the nicest men. I am a huge fan.

Well, I guess having a meltdown and throwing a tantrum can occasionally accomplish something. It looks as if, depending on the situation with getting the certificate of insurance to the building management from the movers, the move out will occur on Friday afternoon. I could use some strong vibes here!

Most people have changed to desert yards. There are still 4.5 grass yards on my street, one of which is currently under citation.

My next door neighbor has a desert yard with a grass oval in the middle. I don't understand that.

And you still have a regular lawn?

No. I have gravel and shrubs.

Yes, DR Elmore, sometimes you just have to get someone's attention.  Moving vibes!

I just read a Playbill article about Harvey Evans.  He said he was in the 1962 film, EXPERIMENT IN TERROR playing the boyfriend of a girl played by an actress named Taffy Paul.   She and Harvey both changed their names before the film was released.  Can anyone (without cheating) guess who this actress became?

See what happens when the telephonic device doesn't ring and the doorbell doesn't door?  I get a great beauty sleep, which I REALLY needed.  Got up about fifteen minutes ago.  Had an e-mail from Mr. Sondheim saying he trusted my judgment completely on which version to use so we're using the fixed version.  I'll hear the mastered version of that track shortly then off it will go to Fed Ex.

Is looking on imdb considered cheating?

Pardon me while I throw my printer through the window...

Just last week or the week before, I installed an new cartridge of black ink.  Had a devil of a time getting it in the printer and now I'm getting fouled up printing and the message that the "black ink cartridge has failed."  I've taken it out and cleaned the contacts, but all that's accomplished is getting black ink all over my fingers.

I know, first world problem, but it's pretty annoying.  Richard is at Staples now making copies for the church synod that takes place later this week, so he's going to bring me new cartridges.

Boy, my pop quiz scared everyone away.  Fine.  I won't tell you the answer; although I think that Taffy Paul, when spoken, is just as  bad as Taffy Pull.

Yup. She wanted to be Margo Channing, but the tour collapsed around her.

Well, just when you think all is going well, the Institute, supposedly worth over $5billion, has decided the moving cost is too high! I've had a request to call a colleague on the project, so I did, and I got a phone message.

It's a good thing I'm not God; heads would roll, there would be blood in the streets.
