Listening to an upcoming release - and all I'll say is that it's PRIME Elmer Bernstein.

Has there ever been a release on CD of Bernstein's only Academy Award Winning Score for Thoroughly Modern Millie

Have any East Coasters gotten Follies yet?

What about the roller coasters? There are 710 in the USA.

Soon to be 709, DR Mike.  I just heard on the Cincinnati news that Son of Beast at King's Island will be dismantled.

Decided to watch "Nashville" tonight since I don't get TV. Forgot how entertaining this movie is.

Sir Paul singing "Hey, Jude" transports me back to freshman year in the Bursley Hall snack bar at the University of Michigan.

Matt Lauer telling me how touching the torch run was really blew a touching moment.

Well, it was 44 years ago - the year Peggy Fleming won her gold medal...

Fun watching the opening ceremony with folks here and on Facebook & Twitter!  It's hard to believe I'll be in London in person in a little over 5 months...

Tomorrow I have to go to a funeral at 10am at the church Richard and I used to attend.  Afterwards I'm meeting Genevieve (my successor at the library) for lunch at Dorothy Lane Market.

'night!
