Hmmmmmm....it was NOT Joanna Barnes or Phyllis Newman - my first two guesses when I read the WHAT'S MY LINE book many years ago.

Rule #1 of packing:  If you haven't touched it, seen it or thought about it in the past three months (or longer), you don't have to even think about packing it up for your trip to LA!

Okay...that has got to be the most morbid thing I've ever seen.  A countdown of seconds 'till you die...someone could go mad staring at that thing!

All about Plan B in tomorrow's notes, up in less than one hour.  I've been watching the Merchant/Ivory film of The Wild Party.  I'll write about it in Friday's notes - strange film, doesn't work, but I gather that what was released back in 1975 was a hatchet job and this DVD presents the original cut of the film.  It's not very good, but it's interesting and it's practically a musical, with a ton of songs by Walter Marks and choreography by Patricia Birch.

"stereo" is a word element referring to hardness, solidarity, three-dimensionality. Thus a "three dimensional" sound.
Does that help?

Dear Reader S. Woody White:  I am no expert on the Kashruth, but I do not believe an item can be milchig (dairy) and fleishig (meat) at the same time, even if they are on opposite sides of the implement.  You are just going to have to sell your customer TWO of the griddle/grills.

DR Jay. Today's listening has included a Catarina Valente Cd - pop songs from the early 60s. How wonderful to hear "Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny..", "Never on Sunday", "Pepe" and "I Love You (Don't you Forget It) etc in German. No Breeze and I (or even Wind!).
Cd is of course from a DR in Paris.

At seven-thirty this evening we had just over a hundred posts.  What a lovely frenzy we've had this evening - thanks to all who participated.  Anyone want to guess what Plan B is before the notes go up?
