First shoot went great and very quickly.  We wrapped an hour ahead of schedule, had lunch, have set up for shoot two and will now await the arrival of Hal Linden and daughter at three.

BK:  What's a typical turnaround time on Outside the Box?  About when might the ones you're working on now be completed and made public?

Yesterday I made a batch of peanut butter haystacks.  I gave the workman half the batch & kept the rest for our company.  I'm now baking heath toffee cookies and will do the same.

Tomorrow the guys may have everything that is left.  They work hard and get hungry.

I don't know what a peanut butter haystack is, but I require a bunch of them RIGHT NOW.

And some heath toffee cookies.  STAT.

Production vibes for BK.

And some peanut butter haystacks for the rest of us. OK, throw in a few white chocolate ones, too.

Haystacks are easy to make if you want the recipe, no cooking required.

PEANUT BUTTER HAYSTACKS

10 pkg Reeses peanut butter morsels
2T. Skippy extra chunky peanut butter
5oz can La Choy chow mein noodles

Melt peanut butter morsels
Stir in peanut butter (melt a little longer if needed)
Mix in noodles until well coated
Form little clusters (haystacks) on wax paper or tin foil
Set in frig to harden

I don't do anything little so my haystacks are a bit larger.

The Rev. Samuel Parris went into the hospital for an emergency appendectomy on Tuesday - so I read his part last night - since I only have one line in the trial scene.

HOWEVER - I am hoping for a full recovery for him and that he returns on Monday......

PLEASE....

When I first read this, for some reason I thought that you had made peanut butter pancakes.

And I thought that that sounds really good! ;)

I'm sure that we'll never know the truth about the speech. ::)

Except that...it was boring!  ;)

That seems to be the consensus with everyone I've talked to.

Another Jekyll and Hyde "Concept" CD.   I doubt they really changed the concept.  Do I need it for my library?  Hell yeah!

My favorite is still the 2-CD studio recording with Anthony Warlow, Linda Eder (of course) and Caroloee Carmello.

DR Matthew - Yes, you should get the OCR of Nice Work If You Can Get It. You may not be a Gershwin fan(?!?!?), but there is some fine work in the Musical department: orchestrations, arrangements and playing.

I was thinking about pre-ordering the CD from the NWIYCGI website, but it was $25 and the shipping would be $15!!

Really?  $15 to ship ONE CD?? ???

Isn't the light level amazing...and all from that one little candle!!  (Not!)

I hate eating in the dark.

But the worst thing (to me) is when they darken the restaurant after you've already been seated for an hour. It probably doesn't bother anyone else. But it drives me crazy. I feel like i can't see anymore. :)

I don't like it either, but you rarely have a choice.  My sister HATES it when that happens. :P

The Hal Linden shoot went equally as well as the Euan Morton shoot.  Hal is just terrific and look unbelievable for his age.  He was so cute - he arrived and asked if we had make-up for him and I told him we didn't really do that - he'd brought his own, just in case :)

What a pro he is - just nailed it all very quickly.  He used cue cards but he's so good at it you'd never know.  Very happy with my camera people and I think they will be with me now on all the shoots, so that's great.  Our sound guy has done all the LA episodes and he's great.  Next up, Juliana, in an hour.
