Or is everyone at home watching "Night of the Living Dead" on Blu-ray disc?

No, not I.

As many times as I've been in Skylines and Gold Stars, I never even gave a glance to anything except the 5-Ways.  So, next time, my usual 5-Way PLUS a Coney.

What is a 5-way?

One less than a 6-way.

Oh, My Gizzard!

It's "desert-heat hot" outside today!

Where IS everyone?

I spent the day in southern Arizona (and driving to and from). It was GLORIOUS!

Would you like to know how hot it was in the Valley yesterday?  108 degrees.  In October.

It's global warming!  It's Climate Change!!  IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD!!! :o

TOD: I married a man from Chicago. When we have hot dogs, we go to Windy City Sliders in Phoenix.

As beautiful as the views are around our house I have always been a bit underwhelmed with my view from the kitchen sink.  Not anymore.  I just love the basalt edge wall.

As for the Topic of the Day...

I'm also a fan of mustard and relish on a hot dog.

However, I also really like sauerkraut and brown mustard on a hot dog.

And then there's the onion "sauce" at Papaya King.

And Chicago dogs are great too.

And Crif Dogs in the East Village does a great deep-fried hot dog... that's wrapped in bacon. ::)

As for the Topic of the Day - Part Deux...

I'm sure my first hot dog was one my mother or father prepared. They would usually boil them. however, in the summer grilled hot dogs were the way to go - there's something about that char!

Ditch Plains in NYC makes a "Ditch Dog" - a hot dog topped with macaroni 'n' cheese. It's quite good. And it's even better if you added a dollop of chili and a slice of bacon. ::)

You pays your money and you takes your cherce:

http://www.skylinechili.com/signature.php

Four-way bean for us, mine with the cheese on the side.  I use less than half of what they'd pile on.

Okay, so this magic chili does not contain beans, but if you get a 5-way , they add beans to it?  Is that correct?

You got it, DR TCB!

Well, actually, adding beans OR onions makes a 4-way and adding both makes a 5-way.

I am sorry to contradict all of you but you are wrong

the ONLY way to eat a hotdog is hot off the grill with Gulden's brown mustard and sauerkraut- served on a grilled bun
