Ditto. It probably was one that my mom made...a typical, small German burger that has the ground beef mixed with bread crumbs, an egg and parsley. I love my mom, but even as a kid I knew that she always overcooked them. I never liked them...even if they weren't overcooked.

It's book 2 and i really want to read it. This is the only series i've ever had a problem with. Sometimes they fonts are a bit smaller but i've never seen anything like this. And it's making me crazy.

I ended up getting the first 3 chapters as a sample at amazon.com so i could read that part comfortably.

I really don't understand why anyone printing a book would do this.

I take it that the font size isn't adjustable in the book...or do you not know if it's adjustable? The font size for almost all the books for my Kindle can be adjusted. You just have to find the settings.

We used to have one in Fargo that was really good also.

Another hamburger joint that was good in Grand Forks was Toppers. They had some hamburger toppings that were quite creative

There was a drive-in on Route 3 in Jersey that had great burgers. But the best thing was they had Birch Beer on tap.

BK: I'm deliberately flying out ahead of the others. I get into Burbank at 5:30 pm, Thursday the 18th. Thursday evening, all day Friday, most of the day Saturday, and Sunday morning/early afternoon are free. Most of the others are arriving on Sunday. I'll be renting a car and turning it back in on Sunday when the designated drivers pick up the group's SUVs for the week.

"Most of the day Saturday" means I should be on hand sometime that afternoon or evening to meet my hotel roommate. A few of those not bringing spouses are sharing rooms.

The HTF events run Monday through Friday. Monday evening is free. Wednesday we're in Anaheim visiting a mouse. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings are reserved for "hotel ballroom events", but have yet to be announced, so one of those might possibly end up becoming free. I fly out first thing Saturday the 27th.

BTW, I'm pleased and excited to say that we've been told that at some point, not sure when, we'll be meeting with Nick Redman and Julie Kirgo.

Ahh...I didn't track that. I've never heard of a publisher changing the style or format in the middle of a series.
