I wish I could have stayed in bed all day. I puttered around the apartment, wrote few emails, listened to KISS ME KATE, counted all of the change in my change jars, and that was about it.

John, some lady on line was complaining how much money she spent to make the Cincinnati chili from scratch, plus how much she spent for high quality hot dogs. Where do the hot dogs come in to this recipe?

Uploading six of the seven mixes from last night, although I already know that I'm raising the volume of the strings on the first half of one song, so I mentioned that when I sent it. I didn't send the seventh because my reliable memory kicked in while I was listening to it - I struggled with it last night and it still isn't to my liking, but I suddenly remembered that I had Lanny do a Hammond organ pass on one song - well, we have never heard that and this is the only song that makes sense, so I asked the engineer to go do some sleuthing and find it. The tracks were not well labeled in NY and that's been a struggle, too. Once we have that track added into that mix, it will give it what it's missing.

Earlier, I picked up an important envelope and no packages, then satisfied my craving for a Tom's bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. I only ate half the onion rings.

DR TCB, my memory is cloudy but I believe you put the hot dog inside a bun and top it with the chili and cheese. The spaghetti, chili and cheese are a separate entity.

Keith graduated from USC, as did my father, my uncle and a nephew. Craig came close to going there when he decided on Carnegie Mellon instead. I wanted him to go to SC.

Thanks. That's just one plant. There is another orange rose as well as one that is white, both of those are also in bloom.

Second, I go either way with beans. With or without. Doesn't matter. I like it all.

For the rest:

The finest shred of cheddar you can manage. And dice the onions pretty small. If you like a hot sauce on the order of Tabasco, go for it. The ones on the table in Skyline and Gold Star might not be that hot, but hey.

Third, a Mac & Cheese cookoff sounds like heaven.

Except for that one you pictured. That's so typical of how people can ruin a comfort dish by trying to get fancy with it.

I have to credit BK's many mentions of it with getting me on a Mac & Cheese kick lately. It was disappointing that last time at Joe Allen when they didn't have it, because the previous time it had looked so good.

I didn't like the Cabaret film back in the day because all I'd expected and wanted was some representation of the stage musical. I shall have to return to it eventually with a more mature pair of eyes.
