Why is it that a handful of dear readers NEVER comment on the Outside the Box episodes?  It's okay if you don't like them, but not commenting makes me just think that those people are not even bothering to watch them, which I find decidedly odd - but that's been going on from the beginning of season one.  Weird.

I would find it far more awkward to simply say "I watched it".  If they didn't enjoy the first episodes they may not be watching.

I'm only saying I don't think it is weird.

Great episode. Perhaps the best musically so far. And funny.

I remember Rex Reed on Mike Douglas one afternoon (or maybe it was Merv) and he was trying to rip the Cannes Film Festival judges a new one because they honored "Taxi Driver" over "That's Entertainment." So, this is a little like having both of them combined. Big happy pants, indeed.

I've never had a mushroom pie but it sounds very tasty.  What is in it?

Exactly!

Since you really, really want to know, I will come out with it. I have watched every episode, out of loyalty to you Bruce, and I don't find them funny. I don't like them. I know I'm the only person on the board who posts regularly who feels this way and I thought it would be better not to say anything and perhaps spoil the good feeling than to post something. As Sondheim said, now you know.

I think darling Ben said exactly what he meant to say.  And it's fine.  I get it.  Not everyone is going to like everything.

The board is being wonky. Go back up and see what I said. It's there now.

I hate when the board is wonky.  Thanks for the tip to go back and read it.

Better to know than think someone is willfully ignoring.  As to what you find funny and don't find funny - that's all horse racing and none of it bothers me one whit.  As you say, most here find them funny - and thankfully that's been the case everywhere else.  I don't find certain things funny that others find hilarious.  Humor is subjective.  But you do understand that by saying nothing repeatedly from the start you were saying what you just said loud and clear. :)

I'm feeling like we are having an argument.

Why did I have to say it if you think that's what I was saying loud and clear.

I'm not responding to any other posts about this by the way!

I didn't say, fyi, that I'm leaving the board, just that as far as I'm concerned, this discussion is over. I will no longer comment on anything related to Outside the Box.

I think you would like it. Sauteed mushrooms and Swiss cheese with some spices in a pie crust. Bake. I hope to enjoy when it's cool enough to cut into.

Now I remember, you had mentioned the Swiss cheese.  I can eat certain baby swiss cheeses, why I don't know since I'm allergic to most swiss cheeses and avoid them.

I love the Outside the Box series. But since I haven't seen many movies, I am always missing part of the joke. My favorites were Miracle Worker and Psycho.

Use a cheese you like or can eat that would go with mushrooms. Something that could get all melty and hold everything together. Parmesan comes to mind. Mozzarella might also work.

I had to catch tonight's ONCE UPON A TIME episode so I ran to the tv as soon as I watched TAXI DRIVER. Then I watched it again. I really like Euan Morton's voice and I loved the duet with Iris. I'm partial to "The Miracle Worker" because it was such an outrageousbeginning and you didn't know exactly what to expect from it or the ones that followed, but I put this one tonight up there as one of the best.

I'm hearing from a lot of people who think this one is the best - it wouldn't be my choice for "best" but I don't think like that.  Glad you liked it, elmore.

And in two and a half hours it has had more views than the premiere episode has on You Tube in two WEEKS.

Cotswald or Monteray Jack?  Up until just a few years ago I had trouble with Parmesan.  I could maybe do it now.

I am scared to see LINCOLN because I am afraid it's full of present day political propaganda......

Don't worry, he was a Republican.

I did hear people commenting that they didn't know that it was the Republicans who abolished slavery

The Lindsay Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor movie is on Lifetime tonight....

Oh, that is why I saw a photo with the two of them side by side.

I hope it wasn't a recent photo of Lindsay and Liz!

Don't forget to share the Outside the Box episode with friends.

I have an actor friend in Seattle who I think is single-handedly spreading the word to the entrie theater community.
