So I met Sandy after the show--she was so nice. I told her I was on Bruce's website and that I would be reporting what  a great job she did. I also mentioned that the people on the site love the CD.

So we had a guy come and look at our roof's missing shingles and give us a quote for replacing them ----- $2,900.00~

I think it is a bit excessive -

Wow! Kino Classics is releasing a massive 14disc Blue-ray box set of Buster Keaton's films. Pity I can't afford it  :(
Ah, but maybe the library will get it.

Laura, your caterpillars look like the ones that have eaten my dill and tried to kill the parsley.

No, but now that you mention it, it's just about that time.

Survived the first day of orientation and managed to get in a couple of dance classes. Last week was the first time since my surgery that I've been able to work in classes, and I'm really enjoying it.

Got an early day tomorrow.

And tomorrow night I'm taking my Hitchcock set over to an HTF acquaintance's house to see a couple of the films on his very nice projection system.

One of the nicer benefits that the company provides is a service called My Helper. You can pay someone on staff $5 an hour to do what you need to get done but can't because of work. It could be buying Christmas presents for everyone on your list, standing in line for concert tickets, dropping off or picking up dry cleaning, you name it. Sounds strange, but it's apparently very popular. One of the better uses is if you're home sick and you need someone to bring you a prescription or food or whatever.

Dancing in orientation?  Are you sure that's wise?

Been very busy with all sorts of things.  Appreciate the vibes, will talk about what it is in a few weeks. It's nothing bad and potentially really great
