DR Druxy, if you aren't ready for a new cat quite yet, you might consider waiting until after the holidays or until June. Very often we have found that the shelters adopt out cats like crazy before Christmas when lots of folks are wanting someone to cuddle with. But during kitten season, there are LOTS of kittens available, and adult cats don't get adopted because of too much kitten competition.

That's if you are planning on visiting a shelter. (Also, it's a good excuse to wait a while.)

Corgnelius, the cutest Corgi ever

Cute.  The two little piglets at the bottom are also cute.

Dementia 13....good choice.

NOT OF THIS EARTH is one of the first BK produced Cd's I ever bought......for the inclusion of MY favorite Stein score:

ATTACK OF THE FIFTY FOOT WOMAN.....what a great main title....and a great sax rock and roll dance song, too!

We went looking for a new cat yesterday.

I'm not sure that I'm ready yet.

I can't find the special Chanukah cards I found for Bryan & Craig.  Soon it will be too late to mail them :)

In an attempt to get myself into a holiday mood, I've been running songs through my head:

Fill every stocking with laughter
We haven't got room for any more gloom
Let's ring every bell from it's rafter
And chime cross the land
Tomorrow's at hand
Those happy days that we were promised
Are finally here
We're getting a new deal for Christmas
We're getting a new deal for Christmas
We're getting a new deal for Christmas
We're getting a new deal for Christmas
Christmas
This year

We need 17 more posts just to reach page 3.   If I didn't know better, I'd think most Hainsie/Kimlets were in a deep-freeze somewhere.

I'm done with "The Voice".

The final four were announced last night and one of the competition's two best singers was sent home, with two of the final four "inexplicably" popular with the public (my take on it).

Only Treven Hunte has a legitimate shot at being "The Voice"....if the competition is based on sheer vocal talent.   The person he should have been matched up with in a finale shootout -- Amanda Brown -- was sent home last night while Nicholas David, Cassadee Pope and Terry McDermott joined Hunte.  Either David or Pope should have been sent home instead of Brown (again, IMO).

Without Brown, it's a washout for me.  If Hunte doesn't win, it will be a crying shame.

Yes DR DRUXY - you will know when it is time.  Looking for a new cat, though, is the only way to make the connection.....unless you open the door one morning.....and your new kitty is there.

Yes, there are times when cats adopt you!  I learned this at an early age when I read this book:

I still have this book, although the dust cover is long gone!!!

Back from a really easy and fun shoot with a lot of game actors doing faux auditions.  Johnny Dark was hilarious, so was Barry Pearl, Dan Callaway and all the others.  Can't really say more without giving stuff away.  We wrapped an hour early, so that was nice, too.

Becky and I had a delightful day.  First we shopped at Michael's and Bed, Bath, and Beyond, then we had lunch at Chipotle.  We went to Starbucks for dessert (gingerbread lattes) and to exchange birthday presents.  On the way home I picked up some library books and my dry-cleaned sweater  ;D

Ask BK:

DR Jrand62 reminded me that I had wanted to ask if you have planned or ever considered any Paul Dunlap soundtracks?

I am thinkin that THE BLOOD OF DRACULA with I WAS A TEENAGE FRANKENSTEIN would make a great cd!

Or maybe 3 BAD SISTERS with CRIME AGAINST JOE.

Or TARGET EARTH and pretty much anything.
