Happy Birthday, BK!

You are now officially a senior citizen.

The bad news is that you're old.

The good news is that you now get lots of senior discounts.

I just finished meeting a dog me might adopt.

It's a 3 year old golden lab mix that these folks have had since it was a pup.

Taking it slow.  We're going to see it again next week (with the owners not around) before we make a decision.

Slow is good.  Best Wishes.

Wasn't this the day about six years ago when an out of this world musical premiered in LA?

Back from a three-mile jog.  Not bad for a sixty-five year-old Jew.

Best of all, whilst jogging I got a great idea for an Outside the Box season three episode.  I love when that happens.  So, that's one down and five to go - and I kind of have an idea of one other one, so maybe four to go.

I went on my longest outing yesterday, that I have gone on in over a year,  Ten in the morning to ten in the evening.  And it proved one thing to me.

Welcome back, DR TCB!  Hope yesterday was something fun and that you have a few days to recover.

My timing at the pool was perfect today and I had the single lane all to myself.

I just had a bowl of cereal with blueberries.  Now I need to wash my hair and warm up in the shower.  It was cold going outside to get a package from the Fed-ex guy making a delivery in a Budget truck.

No packages at the mail place, but a surprise royalty check for Album Produced By - normally the book royalty checks are pathetic, but the first one for this book six months ago and now this one are amazing - not thousands of dollars, or even ONE thousand dollars, but very healthy and certainly between this check and the other one I've made more on this book than all the others put together.

TOD:

ABOUT SCHMIDT
BURN AFTER READING
WHATEVER WORKS

A bit older than the last decade but the funniest film I've seen recently was LE DINER DE CONS, which was remade from the French original into the extremely unfunny DINNER FOR SCHMUCKS.

I forgot to turn the heat up in the bathroom & it was cold in there.  It should be more comfortable now.  I'm getting in the shower so I hope I'm right.

I've finished typing the libretto for Act Two, and I think I will go ahead and finish the Epilogue tonight, since it's mostly a cut and paste from Acts One and Two.

The Christmas tree is up and lighted, but the ornaments will have to wait until tomorrow.  I've also started the "homework" we have in preparation for our week's residency at Norwich Cathedral.  Now we're off on an errand and then the Combined Honor Guard Christmas Dinner - bye for now!

TOD:
I don't watch many comedies. It's not that I don't like to laugh, but I find most of what passes for comedy today rather lame. I enjoyed THE BRAIN FROM PLANET X and found it quite funny. I did, however, enjoy

DOC MARTIN
AT HOME WITH THE BRATIHWAITES

I'm having a difficult time thinking of any others.

TCB, you didn't really expect to hold up for a full day, did you? That is a lot to expect. I hope you can gradually do more and more--comfortably.
