BASKING IN THE GLOW

Well, you've read the notes, the notes basked in the glow, and now it is time for you to post until the basking and glowing cows come home.

Good morning, all.

Happy new week vibes.

Got a book signing this morning at a farmers market. We sold quite a lot there last time, close to two cases. We're hoping for a repeat. If not, it's still a warm morning, though a bit of rain is in the forecast.

DR JRand62, I mentioned getting your envelope several days ago! I was quite thrilled. I did not thank you in that post because I had not yet opened it.

It's exactly what I wanted. Thank you!

Good morning, all!  Another bad night of sleep. I'm blaming it on the fiscal cliff, a term I am getting tired of hearing.

Yesterday had interesting moments, including an email reconnecting me with a friend I'd lost contact with and an unexpected email of a pacific nature from the wife of the best friend I'd lost this year. I did finish entering the recording libretto of DEARST ENEMY, so that's ready to go to New World. That took up most of my day.

Today I'm seeing the afternoon performance of Massenet's opera THAÏS at Manhattan School of Music, and I look forward to it. Before I go, I will spend a bit of time with my Christmas lists.  I would like to get everything into the mail on Saturday morning.

I have a Canadian friend who says a bagel in NY is $13.  So what does a bagel really cost?

That's ridiculous.  What did she have on it? Fresh lox and gold dust?

It all depends what's on it. A bagel with cream cheese is generally around $2.00

Thanks DR elmore.  I just passed that along.  Apparently a couple of people have found extremely pricey places to eat in NY.  Where do you suggest I tell them to go when they visit in the spring?

It all depends on where you stay in the city. I found these:

http://www.bensdeli.net/

http://www.abigaels.com/

But there are a ton by googling "Kosher restaurants Manhattan."
