I keep smallerizing them, but they never get smaller.

We just came back from my Mother's.  I'd tried for a couple of hours this afternoon to call to tell her about Rachel's arrival and kept getting a busy signal.  When we got there she was eating her dinner and I could hear that "Woop, woop" sound that tells you your phone is off the hook.  It was the cordless phone she had in her pocket.  I pushed the OFF button and everything is fine.

I used to hate when my father did that.  I couldn't go over and check on him.

I bet your mother enjoyed receiving the news in person ;)   Does she wear hearing aids?

It is probably your mailman's day off. With all the cutbacks, his sub probably had to do another two routes today.

Good guess, plus I have noticed the mail has been arriving a bit later & will likely continue to do so until after the holidays.

George, can you smallerize them for me?

They look pretty small, as far as I can see.

I just remembered that you can change the size that's displayed.  Where the link has the [_IMG_] (without the underlines), you can do this:  [_IMG width=xxx height=yyy_]http...jpg[_/IMG_]  And instead of "xxx" and "yyy", you can put the number of pixels that you want each image to show.  For instance, if a picture is normally 1600 by 1200 pixels (you can right click on the image and choose "Properties" and that will show what the dimentions are), you could (for instance) use "width=640 height=480" within the IMG code and that will smallerize the picture but keep the same ratio.

Does that make sense??

So, THIS picture is normally 1600 by 1200, but you can change the way it displays on HHW by doing this (quote this message to see what I did):

No, her hearing's pretty good and I think hearing aids would just annoy her.  Most of her hearing difficulty is that she's just not listening.

TAR COMMENTS FROM THE FINALE

TAR.  I was glad the 4th place team finished 4th.  Although they blamed themselves they drove me nuts the whole season

I guess they were supposed to be funny. But really they were quite annoying. They were not a good team. Yet they were so bossy. They really got on my nerves!  And I hated how they kept trying to decide which team should be last. They actually wanted the other teams to wait for them while they did the speedbump?  It really was there own fault they got lost!

Most of her hearing difficulty is that she's just not listening.

I am prone to that same problem which is now exasperated by my hearing loss.  I'm lucky Keith hasn't left me ;)

~~~No Cold Vibes!!~~~
We're having our work holiday party on Wednesday.  I'm feeling fine (thankfully), but just don't know what to bring for the potluck.
Watched the latest Outside Box and really enjoyed it, but I think it could have done without the leper musical number. Maybe because it didn't have Kevin Symons or Damon Kirsche. But I see that other people enjoyed it. I guess that's what makes chariot races.
a) Kevin is in The Leper Colony number in several reaction shots.  b) there was no way not to do a leper colony number if you're doing Ben-Hur as a musical.
And that is why you write and direct them.
I've brought meatballs in the past, but someone signed up for that already.  I'm sure that something will pop into my head...I'll check the sign-up sheet tomorrow to see what's not being brought.
Brave
Hope Springs
Skyfall
And I enjoyed them all.  I'm very muchly waiting for Les Misérables.
