They're running the duets now, then will start the run-through.  It looks like Face Time will work okay for watching.

After the rehearsal, I'll watch something, I'm sure.

Well, a fundraiser would help with funeral costs and there will be quite a few of those to pay for. Also that idiot Fred Phelps and his "Baptist" (I use the term loosely since I know real Baptists) group are planning on picketing the funerals. It's very possible, if this does occur, someone may kill Mr Phelps or his minins and need bail money.  I'd actually like that.

I wish the news would completely ignore that idiot, just like I wish they would avoid naming the young man who exploded at the school.

So no one wants to see the East Coast Singer's show for free, including drinks?  Amazing.
I would have loved to see the show, but I ain't there. And that can be a hindrance.

I agree, but the media can't seem to ignore the likes of him or any other of last year's news has-beens. So I don't hold out much hope. You can also hear news directors hankering for footage of someone who would dare trample on the grief of these families. It''s so much more exciting than mere grief. (Maybe this is one of the many reasons why I don't watch TV any more.)

Just finished watching "Your Sister's Sister," an independent movie that wears its independence and low budget a little too proudly. And it becomes all a little too precious. Thankfully, it was only 90 minutes.

My whole schedule is off today. Didn't get to bed until 2:30, then got up for church at 6:15 and stayed awake until 3 for brunch with friends, followed by a long afternoon nap. Too long. I probably won't sleep later.

...DRs Jeanne and Ginny, since I'm a total nincompoop in the world of the computer, I have nothing remotely intelligent to say about 10.6.8. What I can say positively about  the Mac upgrade as a user, is that it's running faster, I have more GBs, I am up-to-date on all software, and best of all, the Mac seems happy to be rejuvenated.
...

Well, I need to upgrade to 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard?) in order to update my iTunes because my current iTunes is not compatible with my upgraded iPhone and my new iPad Mini.  Then, I think I need to update to Mountain Lion in order to connect it all in iCloud.  Thank goodness for AppleCare!

I turned the sound off of my Nook so as not to disturb Keith at night.

And the word of the day is: QUADRATE!

And The Song Of The Day Is:  A NIGHTINGALE SANG IN BERKELEY SQUARE

The name of another play that I always forget to include on my resume.

Yesterday I spent a good 30-45 minutes getting my mom's tv all programmed for her.  Mediacom stinks for cable ready tv.  The numbers make no sense, anyway, I told her not to unplug it (she unplugs every night)  Today she said she didn't unplug it, she just turned off the power strip.   SO, everything I did is undone, lol.  I really did expect that.

LOL!  I'm sorry, but LOL!

Just got through with a cooking frenzy. Had about 10 pounds of leftover ham from an office potluck that had been going to waste at the office, so I brought it home and make a huge vat of ham soup, some ham salad and them roasted some radishes in the oven (without ham).

Sounds likes something my mom would do, except they have no cable TV and no computer.

Time for 'Snow White and the Huntsman." If nothing else, it's got Charlize Theron.

Well, forty minutes into the movie and it's really lame, as if its sense of imagination had been misplaced in its desire to be more violent than suspenseful.

Lucky you! I scored a ham bone from our last funeral and made delicious ham and bean soup.

There was a little knock on my door earlier, and I had a visit from the children next door. They said their Christmas tree didn't have many ornaments, so I let the go through the box of ornaments from my mom's house that I didn't know what to do with. They took home a shoebox full of ornaments. They said they had a small tree.

Mae-Ling said they need to hurry home to light the last candle on the menorah tonight.

Ham and bean soup sounds wonderful. Didn't have the beans, so I had to use cabbage, onion, beer and a few other veggies in a vegetable stock. The temperature has begun to drop again tonight, so I'm thinking it'll be a good warmer this week.
