Picked up a couple of packages including one from the Pogues, but will not open that until Christmas morning.

But a big package I was assured would be here today is not so I've written that e-mail.  But the best thing that arrived today is clearly from The Twit who attempted and failed to cause trouble the other day.  I received a Christmas card - the return address was the Kritzerland address to where it was sent.  Right there, one knew something was amiss.  The sentiment inside?  "Bruce, you are an ASS."

Note to Twit:  As if your bad karma hadn't tripled before, now it's quintupled.  Why don't you try getting a life, doing something productive, and stop living to spread your obnoxious negativity?  I think now I will actively pursue finding out who the e-mail address belongs to, so if you're reading this, chum, you might want to nuke it.

My birding buddy and I went to some new sewage ponds that we found out were open to birdwatchers. We were so lucky that also there was a very friendly birder with a scope, who allowed us to tag along. He helped us find some things we wouldn't have seen without his scope.

Of course, all these things we were able to see pretty closeup.

Loved the cheery Christmas pictures, Ben.

Thanks, Laura.

Your quote from Mae-Ling made me laugh.

Oh, as soon as she said that I knew I would have to post it.

DR Ben I very much enjoyed your Christmas photos.

I did, too - It's great to see those smiling faces and all those gift bags right after contributing to the cause at the theatre!

Thanks, Ginny. I'm looking forward to your pictures of England!!!

So am I.

I'm having to rethink how to post pictures as we travel because I'm not taking my laptop - just my new iPad Mini.  I will take my camera, but probably take some pics with my iPad or iPhone, post them to Facebook, and then link them to here.  I'll have to try that with the iPad before we leave...

I began my working at the gym feeling perfectly fine.  I finally had to stop a few minutes early thinking I shouldn't have eaten breakfast.  When I do eat before working out I tend to feel it while on the treadmill which is the last thing I do.  I still didn't feel too bad when I got off the treadmill.  Within minutes after stopping I got really sick.  Keith had to pull the car up and help me out.  In 36 degree weather I walked out wearing shorts & a t-shirt and was comfortable.  My hands began shaking, & then tingling, so fast you couldn't see them shake.  I could only feel them.

I think I had an hour virus.  I hope that is all it was though I'm still rather shaky & haven't had much to eat.

Sorry DR Jane. Feel better.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

How long after breakfast do you work out? I would give it 2 hours. But I would go swimming or to the gym without eating. I think you need the energy from the food.

Looks like winter has really started here. :(

Snow storms and bad weather scheduled for everyday.

This is what i dislike most about winter.

I wouldn't mind a few snowflakes. But I really dislike storms.

Thankfully Friday's really big storm that was supposed to be 25-35mm might be rain instead. Fingers crossed that the weather stays at 5C/40F+ like they are now predicting.

Where was it postmarked?  Perhaps you've got FJL's stalker?

That's the interesting thing - while there were the "lines" of a postmark, there was no city or anything else - very weird.  Is that even possible?  BTW, got your lovely present today - fun!

Thanks.

Before swimming I try to eat a little something & then I take something to eat after I get out of the pool.  The biggest problem is I reflux if I eat before exercising, which is what I thought was happening today.  When I got clammy warm I just thought, maybe, I was warm because I was working out.  I'm sure jogging, even though I didn't jog as much as usual, accelerated whatever was going on.

It is snowing here now.  The hate storms when I need to be someplace, otherwise they were fun to walk a dog.  This year I might cry after our first storm.

That happens a lot, or at least when I want to know what the postmark reads.

That's an option..but then if you can attach it to an e-mail, you could upload it to the HHW Photobucket account.  Do you have the instructions, Ginny?

Still trying to get through The Master - whatever its merits, and they are not many, at least for me, the leading man's performance is simply the most self-indulgent crap acting I think I've ever seen on the screen.  I'm sure there are hundreds of young actors thinking that it's brilliant but it's so far from brilliant it's not even funny.  It's bad enough that the character is one of the most disgusting pieces of crap ever, but the sauce he ladles on top of that is just sickening.
