BK - I just got back from your show at the Metropolitan Room.  It was really wonderful, your song was a gem (as I knew from the album) and it seemed to go over great with quite a glittering crowd.  But the whole show was a delight, put me in a much better mood than I've been in, and I thank you for the escape it gave all of us.

I see they were taping it for you.  I think you'll be very pleased with how it went and was received.

I read an excellent book, "Surviving the Angel of Death: The Story of a Mengele Twin in Auschwitz"
by Eva Mozes Kor & Lisa Rojany Buccieri

I know, it sounds like a hard read and of course in ways it is.  Eva Mozes Kor was a twin & Lisa Buccieri writes children's books which is why I enjoyed this so much.  It is shorter & has a softer touch to it while getting at the heart of what the twins went through.

Luckily, I have the album, so I've reliving the show as I type this.

My birding buddy and I went to some new sewage ponds that we found out were open to birdwatchers. We were so lucky that also there was a very friendly birder with a scope, who allowed us to tag along. He helped us find some things we wouldn't have seen without his scope.

Of course, all these things we were able to see pretty closeup.

Beautiful photos, especially the one of the red and black bird.

That is a male vermillion flycatcher.

Thanks.  I'm pretty sure I've seen one before, will have to ask Keith if I have.  I never remember all the names.

My interview is tomorrow morning at 9:00.   I'm looking forward to it...and to having it be over!  I'll know tomorrow night if I make the final three.  That's my goal for tomorrow

Keith said we have flycatcher's but not this one.  It has been awhile since we have seen one & he doesn't remember what kind it was.

It's cold outside.

It's the week before xmas and I still have not cleaned inside, or put up any holiday decor.

I am wrapping gifts tonight, maybe that will get me in the mood to clean.  Ya right.
