BK it could be a coincidence. I read the notes every day and would not know that is the phrase you use every January 1st. It is a pretty common phrase.

I don't believe in coincidences, and I especially think it's no coincidence with another soundtrack label.  As I said, the use of it sort of cements something that's been in the back of my head since it happened.

Time for me to leave work.  I'm going to Costco to see if there's anything that I want to get with my gift card. :D

I may save it and just use it for gas, though.  We'll see.

Until later.

Watching a fascinating indie called "George Washington." Had heard about it, but I knew nothing about the picture. Really good.

We've got at least 3 inches of snow, with every other kind of wet, cold, icy precipitation coming down on top of it.

I suppose that it would've helped if I would've brought my gift card to Costco. ::) Oh, well...I didn't find anything that I wanted to get, anyway.  I'll just bring it with me next time.

The good news is I had a great talk with Sharon my REAL cat sitter today. She's in a rehab facility in town and got to go home for the first time in three months on Christmas day.  He dog went nuts!   I will be visiting her sometime in the next few days.

The bad news is Paul's mom died this afternoon.  She's been in the hospital and I had a feeling this was coming  He wouldn't talk about her and asked me not to ask.  We had lunch today and a couple hours later he let me know she died and that they knew it was coming.  She was in her 90s and had pneumonia.   I'm glad I was here to have lunch with him today.  He said it was just what he needed at the time.

We are going to have snow tomorrow and the next day.  I think I'm going to go to see Les Miz one day and visit Sharon on the other.  I will adjust everything according to whatever I can do for Paul.  His sister and her family all live here and he has tons of friends, several other very close friends.  He's going to call me in the morning

If I am going to read the complete Les Miserables, what should I get.  There was a discussion about the unabriged versions starting differently.  I was a bit confused.  There is an unabridged version for the Nook.

Can't believe I don't have to work until the 2nd.  I really don't remember the last time I took this much time off.  Today I slept in and didn't do too much.  I went to the grocery store, shopped a little at Shopko and had lunch with Paul.   It's really nice just to be home and do nothing in particular

Thanks Vixmom...on both accounts. I didn't know Paul's mom that well.  She and Paul were very close, so I'm concerned about him.

Sharon sounded very anxious to have me visit.  She saw one friend today and first told me the best visiting time...then said I could come any time at all and that if I was there during PT I could just go with her and be there while she did it.  So, I'm going to try to go tomorrow, but I'm glda I didn't promise it just in case I need to do something for Paul

I have been thinking about Sharon - her medical bills must be astronomical - has anyone been conducting any fundraiser for her?
