Hmmm, that is one I don't think I have tried. I'm not sure because I can't remember the names of all the ones I've tasted. I only know that, so far, my favorites are Dalwhinnie & Glenlivet.

Now I'm in the mood for a few sips of Dalwhinnie. Since it is New Year's Eve I shall have some.

Watching a tape of the Encores! "Pipe Dream." Leslie Uggams is a wonder. The show is a mess, but the Rodgers melodies are sublime.

Home from the little Christmas show at the El Portal. You couldn't have better talent than the four who were in this, but man, what a sort of bore the show itself is. It's kind of a Frank Sinatra-themed Christmas show but what's the point really? They have to shoehorn in a bunch of non-holiday Sinatra songs, the dialogue is completely without humor (oh, it tries and the poor cast has to make do) - Jason Graae told me later they cut a lot of the really lame jokes and added their own punch lines. It was a quiet but appreciative house and I knew several people in attendance, including Jason's mom.
