I need to go to the mailbox.  There should be a top in there for me I ordered.  I really need it to fit and look great as I am out of options for something to wear to my niece's wedding on the beach.

A bikini?

Perhaps Ben and elmore are eating a vat of chili together, playing Parcheesi, and eating fish sticks on the side - the one thing that's apparent is their collective balls will be dropping elsewhere - and I'm jiggy with that, balls dropping-wise.

Now I'm listening to the soundtrack of Atlas Shrugged.

I like the idea of DRs Ginny and Elmore playing parcheesi. Does anyone still play parcheesi?

I like that idea, too, DR Jeanne!

Part II of Atlas Shrugged should be to me on Blu and Ray in February.  Can anyone think of another example of a multi-part film where part two features a completely different creative team, composer, and all new cast playing roles that other actors played in part one?

One thing I was surprised about when I moved to Virginia is that there are independent cities that are not part of a county.  For example, Alexandria and Falls Church are cities that are not in a county.  Arlington is a county.  Then there's Fairfax City, which is not part of Fairfax County.

Fascinating, huh?

I've come across that in a few places.  A genealogist's nightmare, for those who partake in such things.

I hadn't thought of it from that standpoint.

Many people assume, as I had, that ALL cities are part of a county. Many times I'd be asked which county I lived in and, of course, I didn't. "City of Alexandria", as Kevin points out, means "CITY of Alexandria."

I suspect it mostly happens in older (as in 200 years old) areas.

I've seen that in a TV series or two. Most annoying, IMHO.

I think I'll prep the champagne bottle so that all I have to do is pop the cork.  It has been my custom for the last few years to have one tiny sip of champagne at midnight.  I don't like the taste, but I do it.  Then the bottle usually sits in the refrigerator until next New Year's, when I discard it and replace it with a fresh bottle.

The East Coast will be humiliated if we end our portion on Page Twelve.

Via Facebook, I asked my cousin in Japan about 2013.  He said, "So far, so good!"
