I have never had a meat loaf in a restaurant that I've liked.  I have had restaurant meat loaf in the past thirty years - just not homemade.

A little sage, too, in the meatloaf.  I remember that because it was how I first learned about sage.

my meatloaf is all beef too-  with an egg, Italian seasoned bread crumbs, an envelope of Liptons beefy  onion soup (dissolved in a small amount of  boiling water  until the onions are rehydrated) and some beef stock in the pan -  I form my meatloaf into a laof nbut do not cook it in a loaf pan - I cook it in  a roast pan so the top gets nice and brown

I just received an e-mail offer for a testosterone boost.  I don't need the boost, I need the damn testosterone - at least I think I do.  But not as much as I need meat loaf.

I'm sure other sites have tried to imitate our partay - after all, they've certainly ripped off everything else we do here.

I love the first part of HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSEN, especially the songs.  However, once he meets up with the ballerina and her husband, I truly despise the rest of the film.  [SPOILER ALERT!]  When Farley Granger locks Danny Kaye in the closet, and leaves him there so that he misses the ballet, I just about lose it.  And then the ballerina and her husband laugh it off.  [END OF SPOILER ALERT]  That is when the whole film becomes nasty, meanspirited, humiliating, and Yes, even smarmy.

Other than that, the film is fine.  And it is a dumb ballet.
Farley Granger locking Danny Kaye in a closet. Now there's a sentence Freud could have fun with.

And Laurence Olivier was not in the closet with him.

Did you know how prescient Stephen Schwartz was?  In Pippin he wrote the following line in No Time at All: Now sages tweet that age is sweet.  He predicted Twitter forty years before it came into existence.  Pretty good.

Mine was the Moroccan meatloaf I had mentioned earlier. It had ground ginger in the beef with breadcrumbs, ketchup, cumin and cinnamon. The sauce on top had ketchup, lemon juice, a touch of chiles and garlic. It was surprisingly good.

Mom's was always dry, despite a cross of bacon cooked on it, so it wasn't my favorite as a kid. But then again, meat was always cooked until dead done when I was growing up. They still eat it that way. When I cook for them, I take my portion out about 20 minutes before theirs.

you need the bread crumbs if you add the egg and the soup or else it is too wet to hold together

Mine was not a bread crumb thing, I'm pretty sure.  So maybe it didn't have the egg?  Well, we'll find out soon enough.
