Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of twelve pages but were only three pages, and now it is time for you to post until the twelve cows come home.

I watched two of the Daimajin movies and enjoyed them.....but looking around on the inner web - it seems that they have all been cut by 10 minutes or so from another release.......

I have one more to watch tonight....after work....

Interesting to see if how much of the libretto B.B.F. they use.

Definitely one of those Oy mornings, getting up.

Would like to have slept longer, but the felines were up and at it, and making sure I was going to be up and at it, too.

The show is in Cambridge, MA right now, not New York. It will move to Broadway in March. Previews will begin March 23 and the show will open April 25th. It will play at the Music Box Theatre on 45th Street.

I have a similar history with SILENT RUNNING, which is to say, hardly any history at all.  Oddly enough, I bought that UK Blu-ray probably well over a year ago.  I think I'd read something that made it sound like a pretty good transfer of a pretty good film that would be well worth catching up with the rest of the world on.  But I still haven't sat down and watched it.  Or even stood up and watched it.  I shall look forward to reading what MR BK thinks after finishing it.

Good morning, all! Another restless night, but I am up and in no time at all a taxi will take me and two shopping bags of things down to Toyland.

My holiday vacation is officially over, I guess.

At 1 p.m. today I'll be sitting myself down in the local AMC to watch the Met's LES TROYENS "Live in HD".  I have (or did have at one time) a passing familiarity with the piece, having listened to my taped 1980s Levine broadcasts over and over.  It will be very interesting to see/hear Fabio Luisi conducting it, and to see the thing for my first time since the days of the Pioneer laserdisc.

The production photos for LES TROYENS look great!
