TOD:

DVR:

This weeks THE OFFICE and CHICAGO FIRE, plus a few oldies from TCM.

DVD:

I have been in an international mood lately. Last weekend I watched some Mexican films. Maybe this weekend I will get to some of the vintage Egyptian comedies that have been accumulating dust on my DVD shelf.

CD:

IT'S ROCKIN 2009 (a Bollywood hit song compilation)

The song from IT'S ROCKIN 2009 that I have been playing the most:

Cute song. Cute cast. The set up is that the girl's cat died and her buddies are trying to cheer her up. Catchy tune.

Hold the phone.  More packages!  Another Kritzerland, this one the new CDs!

Still waiting on several others, but at least the universe is paying slightly better attention.

Got home yesterday evening after a stop at a gas station and a supermarket.  Baked a potato and grilled a steak.  Ate both.  Was all cleaned up and ready to settle in for the evening when a torpor overtook me.  I was in bed by 8:30 p.m.  And despite having the heat on, my mattress warmer on and a nice fleece blanket and quilt over me, I began shivering.

Sigh.

Two hours later, I woke up in a sweat.  Getting up, I was instantly chilled.  Used the hairdryer in my bathroom to tackle cold spots up and down my body.

Then went back to bed.   Apart from a repetitive and stupid dream cycle, I rested well.

Am at work.  That's all I can say about that.

I'm no doctor, and I don't play one on tv. But it sounds like you are going through menopause.

From DR Jennifer:

Why does the hamburger look raw?

It is cooked medium rare, the only way hamburgers, prime rib, & steaks were served in my house.
Maybe it looks a big on the pink side but I'm sure it was medium rare ;)

I'm up, I'm up.  I was up at nine, but it was sixty degrees in the home environment so I turned on the heat and got back in bed.  It's starting to warm up now.

Thank you DR TCB.

It was nice to have stayed in touch with every pup from Sherlock's litter. Of course the downside to that is the sadness  as they have left us, and 3 out of 5 so very young. :(

So when it is cold in Studio City, just what temperature is that?

I still remember walking from my hotel on Orchid over to a coffee shop on Hollywood Blvd in December. It was around 70 degrees that morning and I was wearing flip flops on my feet. The girl at the coffee place asked if I wasn't freezing (she was all bundled up in a heavy sweater).

While walking there I was sweating and kept thinking that I should have worn shorts instead of jeans that morning.  :D

Along with my trip to LA in the spring, I may, if finances are good, take a trip to Utah and Wyoming...two places I have never been, and never really wanted to go...but my good buddy Mark wants me to come out there. We shall see.

If you can't do both why not go where you have never been before instead of the trip to LA?  I know you love those trips but Utah & Wyoming are beautiful.

Yes and hope you make it through the day.
