Hmmm If I arrive on Thursday and leave on Saturday I can get some really reasonable rates and several different hotels. Some I've stayed in before and would be very comfortable staying in.

nope - I live only about 50 miles away so I always come home

i keep thinking it would be nice to spend a few days but I cannot justify the expense

Same, with this box of Whitman's All Dark Assortment Sampler somebody who hates dark chocolate (the poor fool) gave me.

Finished all eight episodes of Downton Abbey and must now wait a week for the Christmas episode, which is fine. The final three are amongst the series' best.
