I'm taking a break. William's wedding and death were quite intense. I'm hoping in the next episode I will find out why Bates in in prison.

Hello, everyone.

Silly me. I thought that DR KevinH flew to LA to see PETER PAN ONCE!

Hope you had a great time.

Glad you got your picture taken with that unknown actor who plays Captain Hook.

GET-WELL-SOON VIBES TO DR GINNY!

I understand your frustration. I'm sure you know there are several viral strains out there. My acupuncturist, who has been treating lots of sick people without being sick herself, told me that she takes elderberry. Of course, my source for such things is sold out. I'm not sure if that's because people have had good success with it or they think that they will.

So, "Les Miz" will be on DVD in March. Why announce that when it's still in the Top 10 at the box office? Makes me not want to go see it at a theater. I could probably bear the closeups better at home anyway.

BEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD is on DVD--and even at Netfilx which is slow with new releases--even though it's still in the theaters. I don't know what the thinking is behind this.

Spent a well needed few hours picking a couple of songs in MACAO apart bar by bar (some nice challenging sections here and there), and there's more of that to come in the next couple of days before I've got a basic handle on it.  Then I ate some leftover Chinese (pure coincidence) and, on a whim, took OUR MAN IN HAVANA off the shelf and watched it straight through.  A wonderful movie.  Even made me want to read the novel again.  What fantastic stuff.  I need to get into more Graham Greene AND more Carol Reed.

I love them both.

I think I need to watch DOWNTON ABBEY Season 2 again. I'm not recalling some of these references.

I finally saw the movie a few months back and agree with you. What fun.

I did not watch the second season of DOWNTON ABBEY.....just the first episode and it didn't pull me in.....

So I will probably watch Season Three just to see what they are up to.

I liked the Season One episode that had the suitor coming to Downton.....but mostly to steal back his love letters from the footman.

I have spent the afternoon watching the first two episodes of Season 2, and I'm ready for No. 3.  It's all quite fascinating. I just never got to it last year.

Hope you have the whole season at your disposal, you may not want to stop until you get to the end.

I finished Disc 1, and I will have to hold off on the next until dinner is over tonight.  Several years ago I had a marathon and watched every episode of the original UPSTAIRS DOWNSTAIRS, which took me weeks.

Vixdad bought me the whole series of UpstairsDownstairs which also included the series of Thomas & Sarah, the Christmas I was going through chemo-  I watched that straight through
I never knew of Thomas & Sarah until a year or two ago.  I love both Jon Alderton and Pauline Collins from Wodehouse Playhouse and really loved catching up with them together.

Two and one-half hours of very intense dance classes tonight. And thought my body aches, it was well worth it.

Well, as of thirty minutes ago, I have finished the fifth Adriana Hofstetter mystery.  I did go on a tear and ended up doing twenty pages today.  I'm sure there'll be plenty of finessing, futzing and fixing tomorrow, and then I'll print out the new pages. Xerox them, and then deliver to Muse Margaret.

It's always very emotional after finishing a book, and this one has a somewhat emotional ending, which I loved writing.

The weather has gone COLD! I have the day off (MLK Day) but I won't be going out anywhere. It's 27 degrees, not horribly cold (if you live in Iowa or Minnesota it's colder) but it's cold enough.

We have a friend coming over later. He's a computer neophyte and needs some help installing a program.

If you weren't a happily married man, I would ask if that was a euphemism.

DR George, it looks as though Kim Criswell will be playing the Polish bombshell Scharwenka on the ROBERTA recording.
