A new member to my group book mentioned she wanted to look at eBooks so I offered to go with her.  We went to Best Buy, out to lunch, Barnes & Noble & then to See's Candy.  It was a nice afternoon.

I like this woman and do these activities with her yet I have spent very little time with her.  It was nice to get to know her better.

I've just spent part of the morning configuring my new (used) computer at the office. My old PC was starting to die and someone, a few months ago, was unceremoniously dumped. She will not be replaced and she was in our Department so I asked and received her computer. I got it yesterday afternoon and this morning it looks like my old PC thanks to tweaking and tinkering.

That's why I hadn't posted earlier.

I thought maybe you had oatmeal with prunes, which is why you didn't have time to post.

Wednesday morning greetings!  Today I have my annual check-up with my cardiologist.
Check-up vibes, indeed.

It was a very good check-up and he made an annual visit optional.  I opted for another check-up next year.

Great news!!!  I am glad you opted for an appointment next year.

I gave the singer her options for the booklet - and yet, the singer can't be bothered to respond.  I'll be told the singer is rehearsing, but that will fly in the face of the fact that the singer is currently posting many photos to Facebooks as I type.  I let the singer know I was aware of the photo posting and that I am three minutes away from making the decision for her.

I will go in the next couple of days to see my friends Diane and Bill in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? in Bloomington.....I like the play and I like them and I like the person I am going with, so it should be a nice evening.

Do you often go places with people you don't like?

I know how much this annoys you but it did make me chuckle.

Is that the Uta Hagen / Arthur Hill LP or the Burton / Taylor LP?   I used to have the Burton / Taylor version and I loved it.

When I came home Keith was cooking a delicious, extremely healthy, meal.  He is trying to put weight on me to strengthen my bones.  My weight is already up and I intentionally didn't drop it before going to Cozumel.

I seem to recall more than one DR needing vitamin D3.  I have recently, unfortunately not sooner than recent, have learned the importance of taking K2.  I knew about K, not K2.

"If you take oral vitamin D, you also need to take vitamin K2. Vitamin K2 deficiency is actually what produces the symptoms of vitamin D toxicity, which includes inappropriate calcification that can lead to hardening of your arteries"

I was supposed to have a tooth bonded today, but I had to reschedule. I've had more dental work done in the last four years than I've had in any ten-year period. And it's not over. Ah, the joys of growing old.

Thanks, DR Jeanne.  I'm still coughing, but I sound worse than I feel.  It was great to be out and about today!

Vixmom, I'm glad you have Netflix. You and I may be the only ones watching HOUSE OF CARDS, but you'll have lots of good shows to watch.

50 bars are proofed, and I'm taking a break. 72 measures to go!

50?   Wow, how many bars are there in your neighborhood?
