I think I've finally chosen all the Billy B songs.

Still feeling not so hot.  Maybe I'm just tired - I couldn't get to sleep last night.  I ordered a pizza and some chicken wings.  That will give me left overs for tomorrow.  Yeah, I know not that health, but whatever

I think I'm finally catching the cold that EVERYONE around me seems to have.   Hopefully it's just a cold and not the flu and hopefully I'll still feel well enough to play the concert on Sunday.  I've been working so hard on it

Such lovely doggie photos.

And in related news - but not TOO related - nice new avatar DR GEORGE.

Thanks, Jack!

DR Jennifer that sounds very convenient.

It's amazing.  As long as the email address the content is sent from is on your amazon list (you have to approve of any email addresses). So for example for netgalley you add their address to your amazon account.  It is very convenient.

It sounds it.

SO  what was Duff's?  All I can think of is Duff's Beer, Homer Simpson's favorite drink

It was a wonderful bar and restaurant. DR Ginny's being rather coy about it. It was the community theatre hangout.

Many happy post-rehearsal and post-show gatherings were held there.  We had a wonderful waitress named Bev (RIP  :'(), who never wrote down an order and could correctly serve 20 people from memory.  I have tried unsuccessfully for 30 years to replicate Duff's fabulous vegetable soup.

George does that work for a word or pdf file?

It didn't work when I just tried...it could only allow picture files.

And speaking of pictures, about a year and a half ago, for our library's 2011 All Staff Training Day, they wanted to have our own READ posters featuring Timberland Employees.  For whatever reason, mine was one of several that didn't get printed and posted at our ASTD.  They used some again for the 2012 ASTD and STILL mine wasn't put up.  However, just last week, the communications department FINALLY printed it out and I got my own copy of it.  I hope that they post them this year...it's also my 25th Timberland anniversary!!  Anyway, here's my poster!!

;D

This is GREAT!

Did you ever ask for the recipe?

Duff's wasn't really a recipe kind of place, DR Jane.

There was a family restaurant in Pennsylvania that made, by far, the best cornbread.  I used to order it half cooked when I entertained and then finished baking it before serving.  I never imagined they would close up the restaurant and regretted not asking for the recipe.
