I am trying to decide whether to read my most anticipated book of 2013 while I am sick. Or wait.

I think I have 3 other library books, one of which is shorter and will probably be an easy read.

I did not feel like reading yesterday or the day before.  :(

But finished the book I was reading today.

Go for the easy read and save the anticipated book for when you feel better.

What are LA bagels like? Are they very doughy?

Not if they are good.

Keith describes a good bagel as dense & chewy on the inside & crisp on the outside.

I watched NCIS last night - and Ducky (David McCallum) and his young assistant carried almost half the show.  They are definitely better when they just have conversations here and there.  The scenes with them seemed interminable.

I thought it was a welcome change from the usual.  I love everyone on that show, so having Ducky and Jimmy carrying the episode didn't bother me.

That is what I am thinking. But I"m not sure if I can wait.

I actually forgot I have 5 books from the library (including the one I am dying to read).

I really don't remember John Gavin in anything but Psycho and Thoroughly Modern Millie.

SPARTACUS was another good one.

I got creative yesterday and put together this music video of a song I wrote back in the mid-1980s with Michael Silversher, who also does the vocal. Enjoy!

I can understand the criticism of Gavin, but I always found him a familiar, comfortable presence in spite of it.

You will find no critisism of John Gavin from me, that is for sure! Hotcha!!

And he was perfect casting in both.

A couple of popular film dancers just passed away, also.

John Brascia, who performed this wonderful number with  Vera Ellen in WHITE CHRISTMAS

I should be reading the book I just began before the two come in from the library.  If they arrive now I will be in a crunch as I have my book discussion book to read and I don't expect it to be an easy read.

I liked the show when it first started (and I certainly don't mind the racier dialogue), but ever since they got married and are trying to have a baby, it just doesn't interest me as much, anymore.

We found Molly's character very annoying in this episode & not in a nice way.  If the show continues in this direction we might lose interest.

Second rehearsal much smoother than the first.  Caitlynne is still fighting a cold and has very little voice but hopefully she'll be fine by Friday's stumble-through.  One gal still doesn't have any of her lyrics down,, but she's the same gal who came in three days before the last show to replace a performer and she learned all that so I'm not concerned although I did tell her she had to go home and nail them down.  The show itself is really fun, I think - lots o' laughs and then some surprising heart.
