Thank you all for your help but don't be disappointed if nothing happens because I don't think it will.  And I don't mean that as a downer--just a statement of fact.

Maybe nothing will happen. But it's better to try and see if we can get the show to respond.  It's great for them to have good intentions. But they need to honor what they promised.

Especially a man who has a segment of his nightly show called "Keeping Them Honest"

I received a message this morning that I got third place in the Oscar contest at the local movie theater!   I didn't think I did that well, lol.  So I get a $20 gift certificate.  That means I've been in the top 3 for the past 3 years.  That's cool

Pretty good!  Congratulations!

$20 is still good!

We have some interesting movie specials here.  On cereal boxes there are coupons for free movie tickets in feb, or 2 for 1 for march-may. This is pretty good because tuesdays are $5.99. So you can do 2 for that price.

And the taco boxes have free movie snacks coupons.

Are taco boxes similar to the taco shells we use in America?   ;)

Well actually the boxes of tacos come with tacos, taco seasonings, and salsa.  And then with the snack coupon i can get my favorite snack (peanut butter m&ms) for free.
  Congrats on the win!
Thanks

I think you'll like it Jennifer.  I haven't watched the special feature yet, but it's the real people telling their story

I'm watching the news about that sink hole.  So sad that someone was just laying in bed and got swallowed up by one.

I hate to say this but I was watching a video with Michael Ball and he is getting to be a big star.  Like Elvis.  And I don't mean in popularity.  ;)

He didn't like the artificial padding in his Edna Turnblad costume for "Hairspray." So, he decided to create his own.

LOL.  I'm shouldn't be talking.  I've packed on some pounds as well but with as active as he is, it was a surprise.

Hi all,

I hope that everyone is doing well.

I just wanted to let you all know that the sink hole your hearing about is within about 5 miles of me  but the dogs and I are fine.

The tornado that hit in downtown Tampa this week was close to where I work.  I could have seen it out of the office window but didn't know about it  until I got home from work.

Hard to believe it was a year ago to day that I was on the AC show.  I posted on AC's show Facebook page that it's been a year and I have no photos to share because nothing has been done.  I think that Angies List had good intentions but just didn't have the money or manpower to really do anything.  I can't understand for the life of me why they would go on national TV and say they were going to help someone and then not do it.  I can kind of understand about the room for washer and drier but when I went on the show the focus was the kitchen.  It doesn't make sense that they didn't have a plan in place to at least do that.

Work is wonderful again.  I'm finely away from that horrible boss.  It's so nice to be in with a group of humans who laugh and talk to one another.  The day goes by so fast--and we still get our work done.  Wonderful sigh~

I stil keep praying that something good will happen.

I hope all DR's who use facebook will comment.  If Anderson said he would follow up he should have, even if he couldn't make something happen.

DR Danise.....Wishing you a bit of snow.

Thanks Jane.  I don't think anything will happen but like I said, I just felt like I couldn't let the date go by and not say SOMETHING.

I am very glad that you did, Danise.

Catching up with Trainspotting tonight. Never saw it before.

Have had to turn on the subtitles. A few of the mumbling accents are just too hard to cipher.

I'm sorry, Cillaliz. I'm glad the Midgets had a good year.
