The laundry is finished, and I'm having some ham and eggs. After that, I think I'll mop the kitchen and bathroom and settle in with the ROBERTA libretto.

I've heard a rumor that the first edit of DEAREST ENEMY will be finished this week. I hope!

I want to be clear - last night was a really good show - many wonderful compliments from the crowd and people seemed to have a really good time. For Adryan, my co-producer, and I there was just this slight weird energy and we both felt it - but that's just us - the applause was huge and loud and long as in most of our shows, many, many big roaring laughs - so maybe I came off in the notes as being negative about it, but that's not the case at all. We've had much worse lyric flubs in other shows - just not quite as many and quite so early - but even when I say many it was maybe five or six. The cast did a great job.

When I see the name Jackie Joseph Lawrence it reminds me of that stupid, well funny / stupid, TV show THE NEIGHBORS in which the female alien character is named Jackie Joyner Kersee.

Nancy Dussault was with us, too. In fact, everyone should reread the first part of the notes about the show - I read them and could see why it was coming off more negatively than it should - I was really tired when I wrote them. So, I just revised them a little - same point said more positively and better.

That sounds much better. I was pretty sure that Nancy Dussault was supposed to be in the show, but I thought maybe I just dreamed that. Actually, if I have started having dreams about Nancy Dussault appearing in one of BK's show; I probably need a different type of therapy than I have been getting.

A French, seven-hour miniseries of "The Count of Monte Cristo" has just come in at the library. I guess I'll be busy for a while. Gerard Depardieu is in it. Don't know if he plays Edmund Dantes. But I'm hoping it's fairly faithful to the novel.

If it is fairly recent, Depardieu would be playing the castle.

I just went back and rewrote my post as well. Thanks for the added info!

Nancy Dussault did a show of Skip's at Seattle Rep with John Cullum several years ago.
