Speaking of Dance Clips, here's a great one from Lullaby of Broadway, the Doris Day, Gene Nelson Warner Brothers musical from 1951. She and Gene are in the Producer's office and do a great tap routine to

Somebody Loves Me

The movie is a lot of fun. It was a random library find and we watched it tonight.

That was a treat. :)

The black shrug Doris is wearing is back in style.

One of my favorite Washington State Governors passed away early this morning.  Govenor Booth Gardner served two terms from 1985 to 1993.  He was the only governor who ever visited a state office I was working in during my 28 years as a state employee.  The last twenty years he suffered from Parkinson's Disease, and it was because of his efforts that Washington State passed the "Death With Dignity Law" in Washington.

I'm having a fit. i upgraded to Mountain Lion and now most of my old applications are not working. I called my Mac specialist and he said to find Seamonkeyy and download it, only when I did, I was told that Mountain Lion will accept no downloads not obtained through the goddamed Apple store. WTF!

It's a bad night on 82nd Street.

T.O.D.

Vegetables:  I think I will eat most any vegetable; although I am not crazy about most squashes, or Chard, or Kale.  My pending old age has forced me to give up eating green pepper; and as of last night, cabbage has been added to that list.

Apples, tomatoes, and cranberry juice.

I am glad I hadn't already bought my cabbage for tomorrow's corned beef dinner.  I will have to live with carrots and potatoes to go along with my corned beef.

BK, I noticed that there were 8 individuals who probably weren't pleased to see your A TIME FOR SINGING announcement.  They would be the ones selling the vinyl version on Amazon for prices from $34.95 to $80.00.

I like that law.  We have it here as well.

For years I couldn't eat cabbage and now I'm even eating it raw as a salad.

As am I though I haven't a clue what a Mountain Lion has to do with computer software.  Please don't take the time to explain. :)

I believe I might hear next week or so whether Jonathan Frank's obscenely padded (yet carefully drafted and meticulously edited and paraphrased() attempt to get my legal license taken away is successful.

I hope Jonathan Frank can get reprimanded and loses plenty of work for what he's done, in whatever order it happens in, irt will be just fine, thank you very much.

I hope whoever at City Center Encores has stood by Jonathan Frank so steadfastly despite knowing very well all the evil garbage Jonathan has pulled, despite Skip and me being longtime friehds of people at Encores, despite Skip and me having been clients of City Center's law firm going way back, also gets a special place in corporate "it's only business"hell reserved for himself or herself or themselves.

My friend's grand-dog is in the hospital with a serious bacterial infection.

MEGA VIBES FOR KING!!!

My friend is out of town visiting his other son wishing he was with the local one.  It is bad enough the dog is sick but the timing sure is lousy.

Thanks, Jane!  I don't know if vibes help with the decision, I assume they've decided already and just haven't formalized it - but the vibes can sure help me cope if it's a tough decision for me to take!!!

Seriously I'm sorry you're having problems and hope they are resolved soon.   The Apple vs PC debate has been going on in my family so that's why my initial reaction was what it was
