So today I wokeup late and had to rush out to church- I am so glad I di all the shopping and brought all the food for the coffee hour to church yesterday

then went home made lunch changed clothes and went back to church to clean the church van out (we are using itnext week and it was a mess!)

I bought her a tire inflator a little while ago so I made her pump up her tire and then went with her to BJS tire center to get her tire repaired -- it had picked up a nail

then we came home and I made dinner while Vixdad and I watched the Best Marigold Hotel movie again

Full houses are still alive and well in New york in the evenings. In the daytime you can go bowling in the theater for the very same films, so i;m told.

Really? That is so cool. I wish we could bowl while watching movies out here.

They just interviewed this woman on the news that was a passenger on one of the recent Carnival ship hiccups. She was screaming about bringing her lawyer into the arguments. She had better go back and reread the Terms she signed before she boarded the ship.

Yesterday, I ushered for Harmony Sweepstakes, the northwest a capella contest whose winner goes to the finals in California in May. The winner of the finals gets a recording contract! Six Appeal, last year's NW winners won the finals and got the contract! They took pre-orders for their first CD and I ordered one. When you pre-ordered it, you got a card with links to download three free tracks that they wrote themselves. They're quite enjoyable.

And today was the 25th annual Blintzapalooza! A local synagog raises money for local charities by selling blintzes and bagels and books! This is only the second time I've gone and it's great. I got three blintzes (for $7) and nine gently used books (for only $15). I will definitely make this an annual tradition.

And finally, after Blintzapalooza, I ushered for "La Traviata." It's a filmed opera series that's filmed outside in a quarry in Austria. The other two previous shows were "Aida" and "Nabucco," all written by Giuseppe Verdi. The two leads had great voices, but there wasn't great chemistry between them. Oh, well. Overall, the production was good.
