Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Jane Austen's cousin Eliza de Feuillide was over 10 years older than Jane. When Eliza's husband was guillotined in 1792, Jane was around 16.

And to bed!

Jane - We have special-diet food from the vet for their main meals.   but we usually just buy off the store shelf for the various little snacks, so I checked what we have; luckily none of those brands.  Thanks again!

Thanks, DRs Jane and Cillaliz - wish you both could have been here!

I miss browsing for books.  It would have been fun.

I went to Amoeba Records last night in SF, found some cool stuff, but I, too, miss browsing through CD's, records, etc... the art is lost :(
I do, too. I really miss record stores. The used CD/DVD stores here are OK, but not great.

Are you speaking of just San Antonio?  Isn't Austin supposed to have some great stores?
My favorite went out of business last year.

From DR TCB:
Quote
They just interviewed this woman on the news that was a passenger on one of the recent Carnival ship hiccups.  She was screaming about bringing her lawyer into the arguments.  She had better go back and reread the Terms she signed before she boarded the ship.

Hmm, you mean the small print I never read?

Not really all that small, but yes, those are the parts she should have read (and you, too).

Watching Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson in a production of "Look Back in Anger." Not as good as it should have been. I think it's  because Branagh is not as irresistible as he is irritating. I don't understand the character's magnetic hold on the people around him.

And now for something completely different...Tony Awards to Head Back to Radio City Music Hall.

Discuss.

That's a pity.
