Travel Vibes for Ginny and Fr Richard

Thanks, DR Vixmom.  Today we're going to the Lima 'burbs to call on a shut-in couple.  Fr. Richard is going to church for a vigil, but I'm not.

I do not know if I am going to the Vigil tonight or not -  the Vixter has to work  5 -10

Vixdad was feeling  a little under the weather this morning -  if he decides to stay in bed  tonight I will go to the Vigil otherwise I will stay with him

BK - I would think that perhaps  it might be a wise idea to use your alarm and lock your back door when you jog - you can get a little wrist band that holds your back door key - you don't need to have the whole key ring in your pocket

I am sad -  my SIL  informed me that since at every family gathering we tend to eat all the appetizers and have no appetite for our dinner that this year we are not having appetizers  - just going straight into dinner

probably a wise decision as  year after year her main course ends up going home with everyone in tupperware - however I was going to make Skip's famous  deviled eggs

Maybe I'll make  'em anyway and keep them at home -  we can eat them while watching the  Third Season premier episode of Game of Thones  Sunday night

The laundry is in the dryers and I need to vacuum. So far, it's an exciting day at West 82!

I've sent the two singers I wanted to hear this week apologetic emails, telling them I believe the role is cast.

What happened?  Had they thought you were offering it when you were just asking their availability?

Well Vixdad is coming to take me tyo breakfast as they willhave my car for another hour or so -  does it seem reasonable that O woudl nee new tires with less than 29,000 miles on the car?

At $183.00 A PIECE I said no, thank you

I will see what Costco charges -   come to think of it  - one of those tires is less than 6 months old -  I had a flat that could not be repaired a while ago

methinks I may have to find a new maintenance  facility - I am having some trouble in believing in the veracity of their statements

O proud left foot, that ventures quick within
Then soon upon a backward journey lithe.
Anon, once more the gesture, then begin:
Command sinistral pedestal to writhe.
Commence thou then the fervid Hokey-Poke,
A mad gyration, hips in wanton swirl.
To spin! A wilde release from Heavens yoke.
Blessed dervish! Surely canst go, girl.
The Hoke, the poke -- banish now thy doubt
Verily, I say, 'tis what it's all about.

DR vixmom -- maybe the car itself has some kind of alignment issue that's wearing the tires out too fast, or unevenly?

Is it all four?  My previous car, an otherwise wonderful and lovable Nissan, was HELL on front tires and required all too frequent front end alignments.

Yeah, nothing says Easter Sunday like sinister plotting, torture, unjust death and battles for a throne

well this Honda has one of those  dashboard alert systems that  flashes when something is wrong and I did not get any tire warning lights -  I may have the BJ's boys have a look

Battle for a throne - is that why they're having the Game of Thrones beer

I love the dinner party scene in THE WORLD OF SUZIE WONG where Michael Wilding suddenly remembers where he's met Holden before.

The laundry is finished and waiting to be put away; I have a ton of books and music to shelve and I need some lunch. I've sent off my edit notes for the Epilogue and talked to Patrick Cummings about the leading man situation. I cannot believe it's past noon already.
