In the obituary section of our local newspaper today was a gal named Tessabell.

Somehow that name has stuck with me all day long.

Well, I saw john & jen and it did what it was suppose to do, made me cry.  So, I've seen it, probably don't ever need to do it again, or even attempt to MD it if it comes around.

The rest of the day, little to next to nothing.  Maybe my taxes.

My taxes are making me cry. Does that mean I don't ever have to do them again?

Good morning, all! It was too chilly this morning to make me want to leave my warm bed but I am now moving. I had to deal with several urgent emails and private messages and I will shortly leave for Toyland. I have things to accomplish there, and a heavy shopping bag of things to deliver to the office. If I leave now, I can grab a taxi and beat the morning traffic downtown.

DR Cillaliz, I'm sorry that a family breakup is causing you pain. Sometimes it's impossible to remain neutral, even if you'd like, because there are too many external forces mucking up the situation. Perhaps it'sbest to drop the friendship now and see where things lie a year after the mess is over.  With a child involved, the next 18 years will be a litany of child support, he said-she said, she did-he did, and other relationship nonsense.

I am realizing that part of my problem with the potential leading man I saw last week is that he's studying voice with my "best" friend who dropped me as a friend in January 2012 and it certainly colors the situation about wanting to work with him with this "friend" lurking behind the scenes. I'm not only bitter but I want to inflict emotional pain and leave deep scars.

And off to work!

I would hope that you would rethink that decision -  why burn bridges ?  Perhaps  things will change and you will be back together again-  it may never be the same relationship but you have such a long and shared  history  it would be a shame to drive the wedge deeper

I'm not driving a wedge at all, simply stating my emotional state when it comes to this former "friend." I'm doing nothing but reporting my current state of mind. At this point, I believe he and I will no longer be friendly, and I hope never to see him again. I deliberately turned down that Library of Congress concert in December because they had hired him.

I admit that my feelings about a possible leading man are affected by this situation, but that's the reality. I don't want this "friend" being privy to my life and he would be, because of this teacher-student relationship. He's had fifteen months to make friendly overtures and he can go rot.

My shoulder was feeling a bit better. I had used a heating pad. I was lying in bed with a special pillow relaxing it. Then I had to get out of bed. And ouch! I can't figure out how I can get out of bed so it won't hurt. Maybe if I roll over first.

Can you make your water bed more firm or put a pillow across the edge for getting up more easily?

Always wanted to see a S.T.A.G.E show.

I guess after last time when a (or was the more than one?) balk at the recording contract they don't record the shows anymore. I have all the recordings except for one.

Starting listening to A Time For Singing. First time I've ever heard anything from this show which is very rare for me.

I've been reading that someone got a version from ITunes. Did I read this incorrectly are there two shows with the same name or two shows based on How Green Was My Valley?

People who have heard the show via LP are praising the CD release.

Love the score so far.

was at costco today and they had the blurry releases of West Side Story (I know of the complaints regarding the release) and Fiddler on the roof both for $6.99.  Got both. They also had South Pacific which I did not get.

I started to watch the extras on Fiddlers. The interview the three older daughters and talked about the music and songs and for some reason I became a basket case. The score and the story still move me.

I can't afford to go to Costco anymore.   But, we always had fun.  Never got out of there under $200.00. :)
