I need time to think.  I need to decide whether or not to undergo another one or two surgeries.

I saw Grease on Broadway  in 1973 -  It was a high school field trip I was 15 or 16 at the time and SHOCKED by some of the things happening on that stage

I went to see Grease in the movies with a big group of my friends when it came out- I seem to remember liking it at the time it came out but I never sought it out in the years since -  I don't know if I would still enjoy it

The food at Jekyl & Hydes was Ok - I had a turkey  swiss burger with grilled mushrooms, onions and peppers on a freshbaked  bakery style roll -  it was really nice  and I had the truffle fries which were very tasty - the Vixter just had a regualr hamburger  and fries --

The dessert was a pice of chocolate cake - the flipped in upside down in a cup so the icing was at the bottom and put whipped cream on top

We wlaked in at 11:30 just as it was opening and it was  virtually empty - by the time we left at 1:30 (the service was not slow -  we were just taking our time) the place was packed and there was a line outside-

It is a real tourist trap which all  real NOO YAWKAS will pooh pooh  but being Islanders we can  motor in and be touristy once in a while  :)

Yes -  it was really cool - instead of a candle it was something like a cross between a sparkler and a flare

oh yeah -  we won't be going back - by NY standards I guess it wasn't bad - $15 - $16  for a burger and fries but for a special occasion it was fun - the Vixter's birthday is the end of this month -  I had a discount code for the Pippin tickets - we had nice seats -  orchestra 10th row, side but only 2 seats in from the aisle - I paid - after the show I picked up what I first thought was the Vixters ticket from the floor - but I realized it was the ticket of the woman who had the seat next to her - her ticket cost $68 more that our tickets did- and the guy in front of me paid  $30 more for parking than I did  -- gotta love those online  coupon codes!

It burned itself out - but it was definitely fun - Vixter was a little nervous  I found out later she was waiting half expecting  it to explode like a firecracker

44th and Broadway - HHW introduced me to John's and now it is a favorite stop -  the small pizza - which is 6 good size slices is $14 -  we share that and usually take 2 slices home -  which we did today  -Vixdad enjoyed those!
