No call. So, do we start looking at other baritones?

Did you put a time limit on your offer?

DR RonP, I would be watching the current season of Project Runway. But Lifetime Canada has not started airing it yet. :(

Hopefully soon. They've never started this far behind.

They may have felt the start of the new season was too soon after Project Runway All Stars (which ended one week before the new season of PR began here).

Probably. We were watching the All Stars version when the new season started in the US.

It's weird though because Lifetime Canada tries to show a lot of their shows at the same time as in the US. But they just don't seem to get it re: PR. We hate seeing shows with eliminations and winners late. It is SO hard not to hear about stuff. But I try so hard!

Today was our one day of warm weather. It was dreary out. But it was mid 70s. I was wearing a t-shirt!

But tomorrow it is supposed to be a high of mid-40sF :(

They have caught the other brother in the Boston bombings.  May he pay for his sins in the strongest possible way.

TCB and Danise - Thanks to both of you for sharing the stories of your rebounds from terrible situations to your current better outlooks.  Danise, I'm so happy things are at least starting to go your way.  And Tom, this is so cool that you were able to put aside enough for this trip, glad things are looking so much better these days given how bleak they had been.

HHW has been a continued blessing.  This gives me hope for the future.  You're a real inspiration and I'm going to try to use your rebounds as a guide to make lemonade out of lemons.   Thank you for sharing your hard times and your climbs back.  I've really needed this right now.

HHW is a wonderful supportive place -  i nevr would have gotten through chemo and radiation without you people and when I was rushed to teh hospital and the 15 year old Vixter was home it was here she turned for comfort and support -  and here she found it

My Brother and his family now live just outside of Boston and my niece has an apartment in Boston right by her art school - I am so relieved this guy is caught - I hope that he and his brother didn't have co -conspirators

And on that note (B-natural), I'm off to tonight's two performances of "Reservoir Dogs."  I think that there's going to be a karaoke party after the second show (which ends at about 11:30 pm).  I'll stay for a while, but I'm not much of a karaoke fan.  We'll see how long I last.

Until later!

This post makes me so happy.  It should be read by all those who've chosen to make their new home Facebook and continually ignore the support and friendship they were all given here every day.  I, too, have gotten through several situations that would have been unbearable were it not for this here site and its denizens, and the kind of kindness and support received here could NEVER happen on Facebook, which is simply too public and me, me, me, look at me aren't I the smartest and brightest - that's the aspect I loathe and I have to say to those whose names I need not say, if you think your stuff is being read by more people than here, all I can say is "What is the sound of one-hand clapping?"  For one person in particular, the ONLY comments he gets are from people here.  So, why can't he just come home to here where those people are like family?  It baffles me endlessly.

This beautiful butterfly was in my backyard today. They are usually in riparian areas. I have no idea what it was doing so far from home.

Good evening.    (said Alfred Hitchcock)

What a day.  Did some garage cleaning.  Followed some Boston coverage.  Watched ROOM 237 which was amusing enough and interesting here and there.

Warm day (nearly 70), and the windows are still open.  Enjoying it whilst we may, since it's cooler again tomorrow and for the next several days.  Nice rainstorm a while ago, very summer-ish.

Have to get up at 6:30 AM tomorrow to take a load of sh stuff to the annual city clean-up/dumpster day, after which I shall drop into the local record emporium to help toast National Record Store Day.  It's always fun to see the place well populated with happy and interested customers, even if relatively few of them are there to celebrate any of my tastes.  But that's all right.  It's a good store with good people, and everyone has a great time.

Last time I was in there I hurriedly flipped through some recent arrivals which notably included some of the plays on LP from the early 1960s, like VIRGINIA WOOLF and LUV (both of which I have), and I'm rather hoping to find a few I don't have that I can pick up tomorrow.

Gee, Fred, I wish I was that good with money.  If I was, I would take a job on Wall Street.  No, I am afraid that this trip is a gift from my ex.  We are much better friends than lovers.  I guess he got tired of me telling him how upset I am about more surgery.  Of course, he isn't going with me.  The Norwegian
Star would be a bit of a nightmare to him.  If he can't be in a Queens Grill Suite on the Queen Mary, he ain't gonna go.

Well, I have to be up at 4:00 to get to the airport, so I will bid all of you adieu
