two of them were gardening  gifts - a planter with a garden stone, 4 packets of flower seeds, a pair of gardening gloves, a transplanter handspade and a hand cultivator/hoe and finally a garden windchime

thank you -  since we were invited to our friend's home we did not attend the fundraiser dinner -

Last night I had a very good time at the art auction fundraiser.  I think I may have posted after that....I had a bit more wine than I had planned on having....spent a bit more money than I planned (not outrageously more, just a little over budget) and had a lot more fun than I thought I would have

I ran into this man who had been really nasty to me at the Casino public meeting.   He came up and said that I was yelling at him at the meeting.  I told him I didn't yell at anyone at the meeting.  He was really nasty to me again. He's a retired probation officer.  Anyway, he told me he wanted the Hard Rock Casino because they were going to have a world class buffet and that I wouldn't be able to stay away from the buffet.  The man is a loonatic.  He's a retired probation officer, anyway, I finally got away from him.

Fast forward to about 5:00 AM.   I was having a dream that the new casino opened and all you could get to eat there was iceberg lettuce.   I woke up laughing.

Let's see.  I got up at 5:00 AM, took a shower, got dressed, laid down on the bed and fell asleep.  About an hour later I took off my jeans climbed under the covers and woke up at 10:45 am.

I ate lunch then went to flute choir practice.  It was such a nice day that we practiced outside.   What fun!  For two hours we played and it was lovely.

I came back to town, did my grocery and pet store shopping for the weekend.  Made dinner and then spent 5 hours writing a brief that's due tomorrow. I have to put it together, but it's done, so that won't be a problem

Our Broadway series next year is West Side Story, Hello Dolly with Sally Struthers and Hair.   Has anyone seen these on tour?  I'm pretty disappointed when Des Moines gets Book of Mormon and Once.  I may have to trek down there for Once. I haven't checked Omaha yet, that would be a lot closer.

I'm actually quite disappointed with next years season.  They really got a lot of new people to come to the shows this year and I have a feeling they won't be going next year.  Straight no chaser was here 6 months ago.  Cirque was here last year as was Cirque de Symphony, which is also coming back.  Hmmm
