Had a really interesting conversation with the fellow at Author House who was the guy I dealt with to make the deal on the new book - very nice fellow.  He called to follow up on the Kritzer omnibus, and I told him that I wasn't sure I was going to be doing it because of what happened on the new book last week.  He knew nothing about it and when I told him the story he told me I should have called him and he would have gone to war over this - I sent him all the correspondence that went on and he'll see that their content evaluation people were completely wrong about the book's original title and had no right to even bring it up.  He's going to the top over it so that he can guarantee me that nothing like that will ever happen if we continue.

LOL very funny DR DRUXY.

Does Carole Lombard have any relatives still around in Fort Wayne?  Do you expect them to attend your play?  That would be fantastic!!!

Bought a new suit today. I'd been thinking of getting something light for the summer (assuming there will be a summer) and without specifically intended to buy one today happened to come across one I liked. Having got into a buying mood I then bought some trousers - or pants as I believe they're called on your side of the Atlantic.

Tried to get a bit more sleep but the phone has not stopped ringing.  Shall now go jog, then have a little food.  Covers are approved and book is off to the printer.  Test copies in a week, books a couple of weeks later!

I think it forecasts a better economy when people with psychic power start to shop more freely.

I shopped today, too!  I've been wanting to order some capri's from Lands End and today received an email offering 40% off and free shipping - an offer I could not refuse.

Good morn afternoon, all.

Whatever happened to my last morning of April??

Well, I had to get up at 6:00 AM to play a show.  The audience consisted of -- I'd say 200 at most -- no, not even that -- elementary school kids.  But what surprises me at these things is that those kids sit there and shut up and pay attention and always seem to love it.

I just paid my property taxes on-online.  They were less than last year's...since I'm not planning on moving EVER, I don't care. :)

I keep putting it off but I'm going to have to clean out the pond soon. My goldfish are swimming about in very green water.

Late yesterday afternoon, right out of the blue, I started battling an oncoming sore throat.  Felt fairly miserable all night, but stayed warm and bundled up and got some halfway decent sleep.  I figured I was going to feel like crap all morning, but for the most part all was well.  I seem to be fighting this off, so far.  Definitely tired from the inevitable short night of sleep, though, so I'm going to lie down for a li'l nap.

I am home from Toyland. I waited on an email that never arrived, and I'll deal with it tomorrow.

I have to go out tonight to THE SONG OF NORWAY at Carnegie Hall. I hope it's not dreadful.

Hmmmm....any collectible...what would it be?   Hmmmm.  I think I'd like the baton Alfred Newman used to conduct "The Robe".

There are no details in that description. What occupied your time?
