DR John, you were lucky to have Delores in your life.  She sounds like a person worth knowing.
She taught me how to be a stripper. But that's a story for another day.

Hmmm, do I really want to hear this story ;)  ;D

well I[/i] do!!!!!

I will be more than happy to hear the story.  But please don't show me the video.       :o

I did, too. And I love Cyndi Lauper's "The Sex Is in the Heel" song from the score.

I think it is about time that news sites stop allowing people to post comments on stories anonymously. They should be required to use their real identities. Some of the comments I read after a news story are so completely sickening.

For instance, was just reading a story about a Holocaust survivor who is telling her story to High School students. In the comments after the story one person wrote that since the holocaust happened over 60 years ago, people need to "get over it," and stop rehashing it. Another comment compared Jews to Satan. I had to stop reading.

I see this constantly, and it is just frightening the horrible things that people post on news sites.

I read those same comments, Mike.  I can't believe that there are people like that in this world.

What in the HELL is in store for the notes tomorrow?

Seriously, maybe I'll just watch another movie and read 'em tonight.

Coffee!      :)

I've just about stopped reading ANY comments on ANY news site.  Other kinds of sites, too, but especially things like newspapers.  Like a lot of people, I originally thought what a great idea, everyone can chime in, there can be some real "discussion", etc. etc. etc.  Well, I don't think that any longer.  The comments sections on sites that have little or no moderation are a cesspool, and I decided it's probably best for my blood pressure and certainly my peace of mind to forget those sections even exist.

I've been biding my time as to when would be best to write what I wanted to write, and this was the time.  I just read through it and made several changes - trying to have it be accurate but without editorializing, although it is impossible not to mildly editorialize.  But I took out several things that seemed too much and it reads better without them.

TCB, so sorry to hear things didn't work out with the cat sitter.  Man can I relate to that.  I hope Nicky is ok.  If he is, I can tell you that he has already forgiven you.  Cats are like that

I am sure you are right about that, but I am just hoping that Nicky isn't going to suffer from it.

Callie had a bad day today.  The vet said I needed to get her to eat and when she's eating to slowly go back to her old meds..  Well she ate. She doesn't like the new medicine he gave me to give her.  Its a thick paste and she gags on it.  Anyway, I made the mistake of thinking she was ok to have one dose of her old medicine and she now has the runs worse than she did before.  I called the vet.  Now he understands I can give liquid or pills but not this paste, so tomorrow he'll give me new meds.  And he says pull all the food.

Amazingly, neither of the other two cats have cried about the food yet and it's easier to just pull it all.    Ricky is laying next to her upstairs. She's in ok spirits, but I feel so bad for her.

I am so sorry, Cilla.  You and Callie are in my prayers.

I've finished the first part of tomorrow's notes, all six pages of them - I'm going to have some fallout from them and I don't give a flying Wallenda - I am setting the record straight - I set it straight in each of the memoirs, but wanted to set it straight online so that Google will have it forever.

Maybe I had better set my alarm and get up early?
