I have to believe there is a chance that Derek and Kellie will win.  However, we probably won't know until the scores are known from last night's voting.  The judges do have the final say, but let's suppose that Zendaya has a voting bloc that votes like fans do for American Idol contestants.  Some performers have fans who vote hundreds of times in the couple of hours available to them.  This could work for Zendaya and it could work for Jacoby.

I wonder if we'll know the standings before tonight's competition begins.  The fan votes are supposedly 50% of the score, so tonight's judging will be crucial.  If the judges had to vote last night, I think there's no doubt Derek and Kellie would have landed on top.

Val is a very talented dancer and his choreography has been pretty amazing, especially since it allows Zendaya to use her natural talents.   BUT...Derek is the best dancer/choreographer on that show...and his brilliance has been on display the past two weeks.  Nothing has topped last night's freestyle...just amazing.  His vision, plus his ability to teach Kellie, is second to none.

Unlike American Idol you are only allowed a small amount of votes. 5 on facebook and 5 per telephone line. We are actually allowed to vote from Canada (even the 1800 # works).

I can't imagine that kids watch DWTS. Or that Zendaya's show is so popular that kids would follow her to DWTS. But regardless they can't mass vote.

Also last time I checked the fans votes were 50% but not in the way you'd think. I am not 100% but this is how it was a couple of years ago (and I don't think they changed formats). But you get a certain percentage of the judges vote.

So with 4 contestants they would each get almost 25% of the judges vote out of 100%. So really the fact that Zendaya got 65/65 and Kellie got 64/65 makes almost no difference. It's basically the same score. Even Jacoby's score of 56/65 gives him like 21.5% of the judges vote. So really it's not that different than what Zendaya and Kellie got.

It will basically come down to the fan vote.   If Jacoby was hugely popular then he could win. But I think his dances last night will not encourage people to vote for him.  That is why more popular celebs can stay when the judges votes are poor.

Since the judges were overscoring last night their votes mean almost nothing.  IT's who is the fan favorite between Kellie and Zendaya. I really believe that Kellie is going to win. That freestyle did it IMO.

It frosts me when medical professionals have the audacity to tell you what you will or will not be able to do! How do they know? They don't. People often make astounding recoveries. Plus, they prejudice your recovery by not believing in it.

VIBES TO TCB!! PROVE HER WRONG!!

Yes, on the test board, George.  I've sent your info along - try re-logging in, but interestingly you are showing as logged in at the bottom of the home page - check your user preferences - since you're even able to get into those you should be seeing the reply functions on the board - you may have to set or recheck some preferences.

I refused to even consider a stainless steel sink when I redid my counters.

When I finally get new appliances, I expect I will go with the stainless finish, since I have a small kitchen and black would make it too dark. I want to get a fridge and dishwasher at the same time by the same manufacturer so the finishes will match, since they are side-by-side.

But by then, something else will be in style. Or actually, something else will be in style two months after I buy the stainless.

Think either Harvest Yellow or Avocado Green.  Avoid them and you should be all right.

;D

I think Harvet Yellow is making a come-back.

I must tell this little story. Many years ago when I had cats one of them had come down with feline leukemia. There was no vaccine then and no treatment. A friend worked for a vet and suggested I bring the cat in. I did so. The vet told me there was nothing he could do and wanted to put her to sleep. I refused. After some argument he agreed to let her stay overnight. The next day I returned to find that she was no better. We again argued. "She's MY cat!" I insisted, and took her home. I knew a woman who had nursed a dog through distemper, so I spent several days giving her water and baby vitamins with an eye dropper and just holding her. After three days she was running around again and soon made a full recovery. About a month or so later, my friend who worked for the vet came by. She saw the cats running around and said, "BTW, whatever happened to your cat?" "That's her," I said, as I pointed her out.

Thanks DR CILLA LIZ.  There is a Retro  Type microwave that I really liked.....with dials instead of push buttons....but it wasn't quite the right size for my kitchen.

Cool!

I need to make major inroads in the sorting and putting away some stuff, and the getting rid of other stuff.  Too many "temporary" stacks, piles, clutter.

Me, too! Me, too! (But not today.)

We used to have a sink in the dressing room that wasn't connected to the water.  Some guy asked me what it was....I said it was the Godot sink - turn it on and see what happens.

He turned the tap and waited and waited and waited.....and I had to explain it to him.....he never did laugh.

I think Jodi should do life without parole and what she did was terrible.  That being said, I can't imagine what it must feel like to have your attorneys file motion after motion to get off of your case.  They are supposed to be your champions and they don't even want to be there.  Unless there is some terrible ethical conflict, I think it's outrageous

Reading on the comments about her I can't imagine wanting to defend her.

Even if he didn't get it at first and explanation should have warranted a chuckle.

I got the test PM so you're definitely logged in, which means something has changed in your settings.  Our tech has been getting a running series of e-mails about all this - that's why we do all this testing before ever going anywhere near going live.  BTW, when we do go live, the board will take 24 hours (maybe less) to propagate to the new server - during that time, no one will be able to post - oh, you'll be able to, but once the new board is live those old posts won't be there.  The BK's Notes, however, will be immediate and never be down.
