"Dancing With the Stars" -- they got it right...except for 3rd and 4th place which should have been reversed.

Since we seem to be discussing movies from the 1960s, here's a film of the 60s that I greatly love:

Very odd. They are doing The Amazing Race Canada for the first time mid-July. But it is only going to be done inside Canada. While I think that this is an interesting idea to me the whole fun of TAR is that they are racing around the world. I don't get why they would do it this way. Except for the fact that they don't want to pay for international flights.

George - you said something intriguing about the new board - that you could access the notes from it.  That would make me VERY happy but how are you doing it - I can't see any way at all.

Well the thing is Jacoby had more charisma IMO and more fans. Just be happy he didn't win.

I'm up way too damn early.  Didn't get to bed until two - so I guess I either sleep ten hours or five.

Except for one section, the liner notes are finished. This one section, however, has me stymied and I am not happy with any decisions on it, mine or the Man from Philadelphia's!

I think I will write some nonsense, put on my shoes, go pay my Verizon bill, and ponder the text while I do other things.

I was wondering why I was seeing the little "bk" up there at this time of day.

Good morning!  Taking a break from packing and going to work!!  Not sure that is a better alternative, but I guess the rent won't pay itself.

Wednesday morning greetings!  My computer is being very uncooperative today.  Maybe it's trying to tell me that I need to be in the kitchen preparing for tomorrow's luncheon instead of here in my Momcave doing computer stuff...

I just finished reading this new book about Dr. Max Jacobson, DR. FEELGOOD.  He's the doctor who injected JFK, Marilyn Monore and many others with his "concoction".

It's not a very good book; poorly written and there are several statements made that seem to be based on the writers' assumptions, rather than solid research.

My interest in the book:  Max Jacobson was the grandfather of my sister-in-law.

Sorry to be so late to the game, just got my Murder at the School Musical.

Taking a long train ride next weekend, I should read it then if it's not rude with who I'm going with.

But looking at it, I bet it's Skip's kind of fun reading material.  I'll show it to him when he gets home.

In this particular context, I read that as "Dr. Druxy"....

Horrific attack today against a soldier close to his barracks in south London. He was hacked to death in full view of bystanders by two men using meat cleavers. The assailants who also had guns then stood around apparently taking photographs of what they had done and were shot and seriously wounded by police when they arrived at the scene. Speculation is that it was an Islamist terror-style attack.

George - you said something intriguing about the new board - that you could access the notes from it.  That would make me VERY happy but how are you doing it - I can't see any way at all.

Sadly, I couldn't directly access the notes from the board.  I wondered if it worked like most websites and from the board URL, just deleted everything after the ".net/".  That manually got me to the homepage...there wasn't a direct link.  And I noticed that there was no link from the notes to the board.  Hopefully, links will be added.

I walk to a Verizon store and pay it.

And I have returned from my walk. I have no answers yet to my liner notes dilemma.

And now, I'm off to my sister's to visit with the visiting aunts (and the rest of the family) and to have some homemade brunch! :D

After that, I'm going to work because I have a meeting that I can't get out of...then this evening will be the last rehearsal of "Cinder Edna" without an audience.  Tomorrow, we'll have an invited audience.

Have a good day, all!

An addition to a recent TOD on Patricia Neal: Cookie's Fortune. She lit up the screen in that one, and her scenes with Charles S. Dutton were acting school exercises in naturalism. Wish the DVD were back in circulation. Prices for it are way too high.
