DR Noel, I meant Miss Saigon as the Eurotrash.  Of course Kim commits suicide, not Fantine.

It's weird but I LOVE Miss Saigon, it's one of my favorites.

I also love C4U, although you never said if that was your other choice.

DR Jane, when I went to the video store, the girl recommended a few movies.  She said I absolutely must see "Thirteen" and "Monster".  Anyone seen any of those?

She saw "Calendar Girls", but said her mom enjoyed it much more than she did.

So far I'm half way thru "The ButterFly Effect".  I am not yet sure what I think about it.  It's not what I expected and there is a lot going on.  And I'm not sure what is happening.

I have emails to answer but they must wait until later.  I need to dry my hair and get ready for mango soup at a friend's birthday dinner.

Jennifer - I've been told that THIRTEEN is really powerful. A must-see for teens and their parents. Started to watch it a few months ago, but my DVD player went nuts.

Does that mean we all have to back and modify or delete?

Another great pic DR Jane. We are enjoying them from here in Oz where of course as DR Panni says, it is a Blue Sun day. Well the sky is blue anyway.

An interesting topic for discussion, perhaps... I was just reading the obit for the director of THE BLOB. In it, it talked about David and Bacharach writing the Blob song, uncredited (in the film, that is). They are, of course, credited on JEEPERS CREEPERS. Which leads me to the question... What other famous composers/lyricists have been uncredited on well-known songs, themes, etc?

Wish I had some interesting answers to an interesting question.
The Peter & Gordon song "Woman" is credited to Harry Webb. (Cliff Richard's name!) but is a Paul Mc Cartney composition.
I wonder if "Woman" is the only example of a title used by both Lennon and McCartney as "solo" writers.

Guess that is really not the same as being "uncredited" but at least it's a post!

I don't think Rachmaninoff was credited anywhere on Eric Carmen's album whence "All By Myself" and "Never Gonna Fall In Love Again" came.

Hi all.  Sorry to have been E & T (again).  I haven't been feeling exactly up to snuff  and have been doing a lot of resting.

Jane, I'm so sorry to hear about your spill on the trail.  Thank goodness your alright!

I was, however,  glad to see your pictures.  Your becoming a real pro at taking and posting them!

I have posts to catch up on.

Thanks for the pics DRJANE.

Oh my DRPANNI....I have read discussions about your topic...but I don't remember any of them.  A lot of that information has been discussed here....hmmmmmmmmmmm

I will say that I DON'T think "My Sweet Lord" and "He's So Fine" are the same song, US courts notwithstanding.

Have not really listened much and don't have the cover but my mind raced to Londonderry Air when I listened to Josh Groben's "You Raise Me Up" or whatever it is called. There may be a credit!

There's going to be a BLUE MOON tonight! Should be lovely.
It is, indeed!  And quite large!
