I tried clicking on "next", thinking there might be a next page, but it gave me the previous page, ie, last night's. When I clicked on "previous" it gave me a page from 2008. But my first post went through just fine.

Yes, next would only apply if we were on page two, and if we were on page two and you used previous it would take you back to page one.

But surely it shouldn't take me back to 2008.

My guess is that there's an "unlocked" topic in 2008.

MBarnum, if you click on the Haines His Way at the very top left it will take you to the main site and the notes.

This looks easier, will do so now.  I often read the notes after catching up.

I did not see today's notes.  I like the spell check.

Jane, you need to clear your cache or simply refresh the browser - I just clicked on the Haines His Way at the top left and was taken directly to today's notes.

Where are today's notes without the unseemly button?

Read my lips: REFRESH YOUR BROWSER OR CLEAR YOUR CACHE - they are there, I just saw them and have BEEN seeing them for the past thirty minutes.

I'm afraid the spell-check will take so much character out of Vixmom's posts. Maybe we'll have to ask her not to use it. Her typing is a HHW running gag.

I just refreshed my browser and cleared my cache and I can't get the notes by clicking on the HAINES HIS WAY at the top of the page

Ok, I went to the Notes the old fashioned way, then when I came here and clicked at the top of the page it took me back to the notes.

Although the UNSEEMLY BUTTON is gone, there was a reference to the unseemly discussion board.

There are two references to HHW at the top. I believe only the larger one will take you to the Notes.

I thought that was optional.  Now I have to call Keith for help-lol

The log-in problem has been fixed - if you don't change the box next to the log-in, which defaults to "forever" you will always stay logged in.  There are other options, of course.

Here's my review

Quote
Adriana's on the Case Again and Boy am I Glad She Is!, May 30, 2013

This review is from: Murder at the School Musical (Hardcover)

Murder at the High School musical, the latest installment in the Adriana Hofstetter mystery series is truly a delight. Adriana once again finds herself in the middle of a mystery and isn't going to be happy until it's solved. This time one of the stars in the school musical, The Music Man, disappears and no one has a clue what happened to her. You're in for a great ride as Adriana chases down leads and searches for the answers. For those who haven't read any other books in the series, Adriana is a quirky modern day Nancy Drew who you just can't help but love. Bruce Kimmel does a great job of telling the Adriana mystery tales without the sex and bad language found in so many books these days. It's a great read for everyone from junior high through adult. Whether you loved Nancy Drew or read all of "The Cat Who....." You'll love Adriana Hofstetter mysteries. I highly recommend them all.

Jane, unless you're on a Mac, about which I know nothing, you should be able to just hit F5 and that will refresh your browser.

Notes are there - try doing as Cilla did - go to the site via its regular address, then try clicking from here - as soon as you have the current and new site, everything will work perfectly.  You'll notice on the main page on this board, places to discuss each of the Hofstetter books, the memoirs, and then under Nudie Musical a place to discuss Outside the Box.  I'll add my other books tonight.  And a reminder - if you're having ANY technical issues on the board that you can't figure out yourself, post them in the Technical Support board under the first topic there.

Jane, go to the notes the old way, then click at the bottom to go to the discussion board. Once you're back here you should be able to click the top of the page and go back to the notes.  Don't know why it worked for me, but it did when clearing the cache and refreshing did not
