We had a really nice stumble-through - some stuff to work through after, but we smoothed out all the bumps and we should be good to go for tomorrow.  This is an incredibly entertaining show and the cast is just fantastic.

Then I was a bad boy and the Staitman mom and Sami and I went to Casa Vega - that would have been fine had I not had bacon and eggs earlier - I had a beef taco, their small salad, and one cheese enchilada and a tiny bit of rice.  This means a definite second jog, so off I go.

And while the evil spambots do get through captcha occasionally, since we went live I have only had to nuke four spam registrations - that I can live with.

My library is funny. They posted on their facebook page today that if you liked that post and came to the library this weekend you could a free travel mug (with the logo of where I live).  So I show up at the library and the woman behind the desk says "oh I saw you liked our post here is your mug".

Funny.  Was it because she knows you or because you were the only one to like them

Because she knows me. And I guess she was being nosy. She was saying how all the librarians were wondering who some of the people were. I thought it was odd. I know it said to like the post. But I had no idea that they would be making a list and checking it.

I had a bad headache and went to lie down at 6:30pm and just got up now (10:30pm). Hope that doesn' t mean i'll be up all night.

Juinor's (of the famous cheescake) is right acrowss from the music box so the Vixter went a got a bagel and then I wnet an got a crosissant and we had a picnic breakfast there on the sidewalk

That sounds fun. I remember camping out to get Broadway tickets quite a few years ago.

She is on her way out east to meet with the guy who has been on tv for the prosthetic arm that your brain operates.  She's got a meeting to see if she can get into the study and get one of those totally cool arms

We had a wonderful Freedom Day celebration today. The tradition for Freedom Day is there is no tradition. We just do whatever we feel like.

This year we felt like driving up to Hoover Dam to drive over the new bridge that was under construction for several years. Sadly, you can't see a thing from it. If there hadn't been a sign that said "No Stopping on Bridge" I wouldn't have known we were on it. It was such a fantastic sight from the top of the dam (the old way of crossing the river). Then we went to the first casino on the Nevada side -- as soon as there was a flat spot to build on. It was the worst buffet ever. We had a great time.

Today, we have two performances, one at 1:00 pm and the other at 4:30 pm.  If everything goes according to Hoyle, I think it'll be safe to assume that the rest of the run will be microphone-problem-free!

Well, the microphone issue seems to no longer be an issue!  The audiences, however....  Actually, the 1:00 audience was fine.  The 4:30 audience was a bought house.  A local school bought the house and we think that it actually was a bunch of home-schooled kids.  During the first act, there was VERY little response from the audience, and the cast was doing quite well.  The second act got better responses.  Now, we just have tomorrow and then we're done until next weekend.  That means I can do laundry tomorrow!

Callie had an uneventful birthday.  I did take all the food dishes up to her favorite room so we had a mini party there. This is one of my fav photos of her

Wow, Vixmom, 19 and 20. 2 weeks ago 6:30 got you 15 on the line. But at least they sell both matinee and evening rush at 10am so you are pretty much assured a ticket if you're at that point in the line.

I guess people are trying to see it in advance of the Tonys a week from Sunday.

Is she coming to Long Island?  The local news had a story recently about a  local company that has developed some really advanced computerized prosthetics for amputees - they have been working with a lot of veterans of the Gulf wars
