I'm up, I'm up. Workers here at eight, so only six hours of sleep, and worse, they're working on the kitchen window today so I'm not sure how much work on the computer I'll get done - hopefully they won't be inside for much longer.

DR Laura, it just about kills me every month! But I do enjoy my job, and the people I work with. I enjoy coming in to work every day - and how many people can say that? I am very fortunate - and very grateful.

The Act One fixes are finished and sent to copyist and conductor. I need to look at a copy of the original published sheet music for "You're Devastating"; the vocal score for ROBERTA was published in 1952, and there is one bar in which the melody is completely different from what Russell Bennett wrote in 1932. Oy!

I had a nice trip to the NYPL Music Collection, and I've looked at the original 1933 publication of the songs from ROBERTA.Russell Bennett was wrong.

And that's rare.
