Barbara, take off your pantyhose.

There. I've said it. And I feel better.

I wonder how Barbara feels.

Perhaps for Keven the phrase should be. "Barbra take off your pantyhose!"

DR Cillaliz, re: Weight Watchers.

Have you heard of the yonanas machine?  It takes frozen fruit and when you put it thru the machine it comes out like soft serve ice cream (if you freeze it the texture is like regular ice cream). You can put peanut butter or chocolate chips thru the machine too. But if you just use fruit it is supposedly zero points.

I would highly recommend this machine. I use it every week and have not eaten ice cream since. I know you can get it on amazon.com. And Bed Bath and Beyond and probably other places in the US. So good.

Wow, Jennifer, I was going to ask if anyone had tried that machine.  I saw it in a catalog last night, but I was not sure it would work.

I love FATHER GOOSE.

Trevor Howard has the best line in the movie.  When he hears that Grant and Caron want to marry, his reaction (as I recall): "Goody-Two=Shoes and the Filthy Beast!?!"

That is a rather harsh description of Leslie Caron!

Hello again!  I had a leisurely day.   I met some friends for lunch.  My friend John was able to get tickets for Monday's concert. The prices have been lowered and we got tickets for only 108 euros. I think the original price was about 295 euros.

I'm afraid I won't be able to post photos until I get home since I don't have a computer with me (to upload photos).   I recently bought a mini iPad and have that with me.

I have to say the work that is going on the last couple of days and which will continue on through Tuesday is in the den and I really don't like not having access to it at ALL during the days especially as that is my relaxing room

All this talk of EARTHQUAKE is making me want to see it again. Perhaps with some friends.

Might be a good time to break out the cherry flavored whiskey.

All I can really remember about EARTHQUAKE is parts of homes and some stunt extras rolling down a steep hill and a guy who goes into a house and it blows up.

When my buddy Mark was visiting from Wyoming last, he and I and our buddy Greg sat around watching trailers from all the various disaster films of he period...EARTHQUAKE, TOWERING INFERNO, the AIRPORT movies, etc. We were all laughing very hard!

I remember that MARCUS WELBY MD episode.....and I remember Mark Miller, and unfortunately, I remember Pat Crowley's PLEASE DON'T EAT THE DAISIES.....on at least one episode, she called one of the child actors by his real name instead of his character name.....

When I was a kid, I had a major crush on Pat Crowley.

Speaking of Pat Crowley, here she is with Richard Denning in (Wait for it!) MICHAEL SHAYNE.

All in all it really isn't all that long they are working on the house, not compared to what we have gone through in some of our homes.

VIBES THEY ARE REALLY DONE ON TUESDAY!!!

That's a LOT of Bach!

If you buy two, you could keep them Bach to Bach.

It was a long day, but the fixes are in. For some reason I have been craving an apple fritter.

I forgot to post this photo yesterday.  This is the most recent photo of Jess Marlow taken last month in the Reno Jail.

Jess Marlow is the name supposedly given to Scott Thorson, when he was supposedly put in the Witness Protection Program after he testified in the Wonderland Murder Case.

I know I speak sacrilege to some but I was never taken with Krispy Kreme. I encountered many of them when I toured the South and they had outlets in NYC for a while (the franchises were not as successful as they hoped) so I've tried them but I don't find anything special about them.

Amen!  They were far more successful when they were difficult to find, and when people had to drive for miles to reach a shop.  Once they became accessible, the novelty wore off.

I'll post photos when I get home but in the meantime here's a clip from a Dutch website.  The guy taking the video said he wash with a newspaper.  I hope it works in other countries:

No payday here, but it is Friday.  :)

It is not payday here, and it can't be Friday, because I was sure that yesterday was Sunday.

Good morning....

Need some vibes for the coat show.  The show is fine, but we may be losing a cast member today, however.  It's all very vague and evidently rather serious (with the law involved).  Don't know who it is, which is frustrating, but they can't tell us.  I'll find out this morning just how much it will effect the show (we opened last night).

Oh the joys of middle school....

Amazing! The complete works of J.S. Bach (154 CDs worth of material) on a tiny 32GB UBS flash drive. For under $200.

Wow...that's amazing!  Amazon lists it at $317.62, but there are sellers who are selling it for as little as $254.29.  Where is it listed for under $200?

Please forgive my posts if they get weirder than usual this afternoon and evening.  I was lifting that damn wheelchair out of the trunk and I lifted it wrong.  I must have pulled a ligament or some tissue between my ribs.  I thought I was going to pass out in the parking lot.  i made it into the house, but I had to take two of my pain pills just to stop those pain flashes everytime I moved or breathed.  I am afraid I am getting a bit loopy, but some of you probably won't even notice.

Most of the stuff the workers have done hasn't been disruptive at all - it's been a couple of weeks now since they began.  It's just the past couple of days.

I began wearing glasses in Grade Eight....and I was shocked what I had been missing....including the blackboard!

I started wearing glasses / contacts in high school and stopped three years ago when my glaucoma cured my vision.

DR Jrand62 - I am curious which version of CHARLIE BROWN is being licensed nowadays. Is it the old, "traditional" version of the show, or are some of the additions of recent years (such as "My Philosophy") now included?

When I was in a local production in 2002, we performed the revised version.  A couple of years ago, another local production (covertly, I think) used parts of both versions.
