Had a nap with the cats. Only slept about an hour, but it was nice.

Do the cats sleep up on the bed with you, DR Cillaliz? Zach will not sleep up on the bed with me - I think he gets too warm.

Looking forward to reading all about it - we don't start for three more hours.  A shame it doesn't work like the Oscars.

DR GINNY I can't believe you haven't seen Prisoner of Second Avenue.....movie starred Jack Lemmon and Anne Bancroft.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gbo1sObbkoI

I was in the play in high school.

What part did you play?

I was Mel a couple of decades ago with a face full of water.

I directed a production at Tacoma Little Theatre.

I miss seeing live major league baseball games. :(

So do I.  I want to go to a Phillies game with Craig.

A "Glitter and Be Gay" more spirited than usual, at least for a concert setting:

That may be the best interpretation of the song/aria I've heard since Barbara Cook. She's fun.

I didn't like her in this, although she's a wonderful singer.  She's trying too hard.

I enjoyed the part with the string player's bow, but I thought the rest of it was a bit over the top.

Nice intro song, but I didn't even hear a mention of Drood.  I know Pippin will likely win but Drood has a few nominations, you'd think he'd mention it along with every other show he did mention
