I was very happy for the Best Supporting Actor; I've always liked his work. I was rooting for Spike; I liked Billy when he was on ONE LIFE TO LIVE.

I wonder, DR Cillaliz, if DROOD wasn't mentioned in the opening because it's no longer running. This show has become all about getting tourist butts into theatre seats and the cast coildn't be a part of the opening's routines.

I think that's probably true. I know they aren't performing a number, but you'd think you could say the name of the show.

I don't believe they named the two shows nominated for Best Musial that have already closed, either.

This is just sad.

Not looking at Facebook anymore - it just brings out the stupid in people like nothing else and that includes some of the people who are up for awards.

Good idea!!! :)

"The crowd loves it" - they're back at Radio City, where 90% of the audience are teens and musical theater FANatics who are told to scream for their favorites - I hate Radio City for these awards and it's just like American Idol crap.  Oh, for the days when the awards were held in normal B'way theaters and the theater community was the audience - not rabid, screaming kiddies.

Where do teenagers get $200.00 per ticket?

Daddy.....

I wonder if the orchestra is in an entirely different building as in previous years. THAT is just wrong.

I've been watching William Castle's Mr. Sardonicus.

Oh yuck!!  That movie gave me horrible nightmares for years and years.

At first I thought Fairy Godmother still had her Old Crone dress stuck to her backside....but I guess it was a train.....I like those quick onstage changes when they're hidden a bit better.......

Well, Ms Clark does a dreadful Angela Lansbury as the old lady. And I swear Doug Beane stole all of that from the GLASS SLIPPER screenplay.

"My Own little corner": way too fast. I love Laura Osnes.
