REVIEWING THE SITUATION

Well, you've read the notes, the notes reviewed the reviewers, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently writing some MOO-ray reviews.

My cousins will be in town from Pennsylvania, again for Cousin Ross trying out his comedy act.

Ross' brother Karl and sister-in-law Stephanie said they found the perfect house, so I hope they'll be there and I can hear about that.

Jane wrote yesterday: "Today my sister would have been 69.  It is sad I went from her adoring little sister to being relieved when she was gone.  I like to remember her like this, before the abuse towards me was the norm and she was more often than not a wonderful big sister."

Jane, it's interesting about sibling issues - my brother has been different in the last month to seven weeks or so, pretty much rewriting the past, and people are telling me they always saw that side of him all the years.

On my mom's side, the cousins near D.C.  (the sister of the cousin who's now in Brooklyn)  had a baby not too long ago and they got a new house too.

Thanks, DR FJL, for the parody lyrics.

Just one question: is the dance break for me, or for the 95-year-old?   :)

The dance break if for everyone in the audience.

(in other words, I couldn't come up with anything, LOL)

Well, tonight's the last concert.  What a whirlwind!  my friend Robin and I had a tour of Berlin by a local fan.  We went to Checkpoint Charlie and remnants of the wall.  The public transportation here is excellent but very confusing so it was great having Anke show us around.

Speaking of Robin, she hit to go backstage and meet Barbra after the show!   We call her SuperFan.  I'm really happy for her!

I did see Mr. Barrett and his partner outside the arena before and after the show  in Amsterdam.  They both loved the show.

Lovely picture from DR JANE yesterday, even though the story to go with it was sad.

Sounds like the show MR BK saw last night was fun.

DR KEVIN H is still gadding about the globe.

Vibes for DR SINGDAW's performance this evening.  I am sure it will be a birthday highlight.

Good morning, all!

I am off to Toyland to continue the printing and the taping. I have very little to report. Despite my trying to avoid trouble, I seem once again to be in it up to my butt, and there maybe more on this later.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Good Weekend Vibes for one and all! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today is the Queen's Official Birthday (King's Official Birthday in the reign of a male monarch). It is the selected day on which the birthday of the monarch of the Commonwealth realms (currently Queen Elizabeth II) is officially celebrated in those countries. The date varies as adopted by each Commonwealth country, but is generally around the end of May to the start of June, to coincide with a high probability of fine weather in the Northern Hemisphere for outdoor ceremonies.
The sovereign's birthday was first officially marked in the United Kingdom in 1748. Since then, the date of the king or queen's birthday has been determined throughout the British Empire and later the Commonwealth according to either different royal proclamations issued by the sovereign or governor or by statute laws passed by the local parliament. The exact date of the celebration today varies from country to country and except by coincidence does not fall on the day of the monarch's actual birthday (that of the present monarch being 21 April). In some cases, it is an official public holiday, sometimes coinciding with the celebration of other events. Most Commonwealth realms release a Birthday Honours List at this time.
Good VERY LATE MORNING, all.
Wow, did I sleep in, or what?  All the way to 9:30 a.m., as opposed to the usual 7:00?
Coffee!
A couple of long dreams -- as per usual for a late sleep-in -- of which I can only remember bits of the very last part.  Which is unfortunate, because they definitely lacked anything angstful or even irritating.  There was just a bunch of goings-on at some large place or other with a bunch of people or other, and the one tidbit I can clearly recall just isn't worth much.  Damn it to hell.
