Good morning, all!

I have nothing to report: I'm off to the bank, Pearl Art Supplies and Toyland.

.......and to a fitting.

I am still waiting for Peyton Place Part Three which is apparently never going to be released.

Don't you hate it when that happens! Just like Room 222...two seasons, then zilch!

Write to Shout! Factor. Perhaps they will continue it. I should do the same. I think they have a Facebook page

And "Mama's Family".  Season One and then nada.  It didn't get good until Seasons two and three!!!

And just because it's a Steve Sondheim sort of day:

In other entertainment news, I see that the old tv series RIPCORD is now out on DVD! Why I never heard any announcement of this fact, is a mystery!

This is an experiment.  If it works, you'll have a link to an excellent piece of music by Elmer Bernstein!

And, it worked.  Wonderful.  That was the Finale of the LP recording from "The Carpetbaggers".

I was just musing (whilst out driving to Home Depot and back) how mortifying are my meager dabblings in the world of BK's close personal friend Stephen Sondheim.

Something must be done.

Now that we have this new toy, please tolerate my next offering:  The Main Title to Alex North's bittersweet, jazzy score for "All Fall Down."

I was slogging through some old e-mails and found this link.

It's Jackie Gleason...and it's vintage...and it's right up some of your alleys, I think.

It's widescreen on my new iPad!

Speaking of old emails, does anyone else have the problem of having 100s of emails they just don't know what to do with?

I have never been good at organizing my old emails, those that I don't delete. I really need to get around to making folders for them. I believe my AOL account has a total of 591 emails sitting there like so much fish, smelling up the place.

And one more very exciting (to me) DVD release...this from Sony...TEEN AGE CRIME WAVE! This 1955 films is one of my all time favorite juvenile delinquent flicks!

I interviewed one of the stars of this film, Frank Griffin, some years back. One of my all time favorite interviewees (he is the brother of Debra Paget, Teala Loring, and Lisa Gaye).

Greetings from Toyland! I have been to Pearl Art Supply and purchased the tape. My colleague Curtis sent me the tracking number for the paper; it will arrive tomorrow. I've dropped the vocal score at Kinko's for 5 more copies to be run off, and I believe that's all I will accomplish here today.

My goddaughter's mother, who has apparently dropped me as a friend along with her husband, is the first voice you hear on the OBC of COMPANY. In the Making of documentary, she's in a purple minidress. I'm weeping no more over the two of them.

She will come crawling back....

I want no one crawling to me, but, Charlie, why can't it be like it was?

I understand Larry's pain and/or annoyance at being shined on by friends.  As some here know, this incomprehensibly happened to me with the parents of Melody Hollis - just did a complete 180, no explanation, until I finally told all of them to take a hike.  The mother wrote me twice after that, and both times I tried to get things back on track, but alas, they have gone to some weird land that I want no part of - and I'm not the only one they've done this with, and Melody is the one who suffers - I had been VERY good to that little child, giving her fourteen Kritzerland shows in a row, an act, a CD, challenging her with harder and harder material - and her mother took it all away from her.  Bravo mom.
